The monster let out a deafening roar, then charged straight at Drake's group!

Fiona roared as she leaped forward, slicing the monster cleanly in two with a single strike!
It was surprising that the monster was cut in half with ease by Fiona, collapsed to the ground, and immediately vanished—almost as if it had never been there, to begin with!
Another monster lunged at Fiona, its long arm raised to strike at her legs. Fiona quickly dodged.
At the same time, flames surged from Harry, engulfing the monster. Once again, the creature quickly vanished, as if it posed no real threat.
But Fiona could feel the force behind the monster's swipe—it created a gust of razor-sharp wind. It was obvious that if she had been hit, her legs would have been gone!
Luis stood behind them, his brows slightly furrowed. He, Alice, and Saphen were all under protection.
And then, the thunderous roar echoed again.
