The moment the door opened, I felt my blood boil.
"It's you! Have you no shame?!"
Lucas looked at me with a slightly startled expression. His hair was still wet, and he was wearing a different set of clothing from when I saw him earlier.
My mind went wild with reasons why someone would take a midday shower in the middle of an event...especially after being seen carrying a crying woman into his room.
"Mr. Vittoria? What are you doing here?" he asked, startled by my sudden visit.
I wanted to push the door open and see if she was inside, but Lucas was stronger than he appeared and held the door in place, blocking the view from inside.
"Where is she?! What did you do to her?" I asked, gnashing my teeth in anger. I was ready to skin him alive if I so much as heard a peep from her.
Lucas maintained a neutral expression, frowning slightly. "Mr. Vittoria, I'm not sure who you're looking for, but your actions are coming off as slightly aggressive. Please leave."
