Ivanna wondered why the car had stopped so suddenly,
then looked forward only to see a red traffic light hanging above them.
"Ah," she thought.
Once the light turned green,
Caesar continued driving smoothly,
and Ivanna opened the bag to explore its contents with excitement.
Her eyes landed on the snacks – chocolates, crackers, cookies and some chips,
she decided dark chocolate would be perfect
to ease her menstrual cramps and calm her stomach.
She quickly grabbed a large bar of dark chocolate,
opened the packaging with a soft tear,
and tore off the first grid of chocolate with anticipation.
Before taking a bite herself,
Ivanna offered the chocolate bar to Caesar as always,
And hold it out between them
with a gentle, questioning smile.
She waited for his response,
curious if he'd accept her offer
or politely decline.
Caesar looked at her outstretched hand,
then met her eyes,
his gaze softening slightly.
