Alexis stood there all alone and unsure of what to do, she walked over to one of the bars and grabbed a glass of wine, downing it in one go.
There were still a few minutes until Keelion made an appearance, and her heart was pounding.
She could hear the clock ticking by in her head, and it only stopped when that whiff of very familiar scents flew into her nose.
Alexis froze in the chair where she sat. She slowly, very slowly turned her head, and there he was.
Keelion.
Swathed in an all white suit, encrusted with fine diamonds at precise parts. His white hair had grown longer, much longer, and he had it in a low-man bun.
His face, however, beautiful as it may be, wasn't…happy.
The man looked stone cold, like ice—a look she didn't see on his face last time she saw him.
Her breath caught in her throat.
She was frozen.
