The days passed, and Flain kept learning more and more at the Academy. His senses improved only slightly because he had to act like an average student. His offensive power didn't increase much either, but he gained a few good combat experiences from fighting various students with very different fighting styles.
Professor Nyvar wanted to see everyone's collection of techniques. Flain had only two and could only show one, which was Swift Cascade, a technique he liked quite a lot. Nyvar also announced that they would soon begin focusing on techniques, which pleased Flain because it meant he would get another technique for free.
In Magic class, Flain didn't stand out because the entire class was still focused on learning the spell the professor had given them.
However, in Rune Magic, Flain made considerable progress. He managed to draw a Solar core, while the others could only manage half of it. Of course, Flain didn't show it because that wouldn't fit his role as an average student.
