I did not just do what I think I did.

I take in the shock stamped on Blackwood's face as he gapes up at me.
Yes, Helena. You really did just tackle Blackwood to the ground.
Blackwood moves. One moment I'm pinning him to the floor, and the next, I'm flat on my back beneath him.
His gray eyes are incredulous as he stares down at me. "Did you just tackle me?"
If we didn't have the history we did, I would swear that for a second, a smile glints in his eyes.
But it's brief.
There one second, gone the next.
His gaze hardens before he swings his attention from me to the fireplace beside us.
Believing he's getting ready to fish out the newspaper clipping with an identifying name, panic spikes through me, and I roll us.
I'm on top for barely a second before Blackwood is once again straddling me, his larger body pressing mine to the floor.
"Are you crazy?" he breathes. "No." I deny it, but I must be.
