Runia's joyful bouncing ceased. She turned, her eyes catching sight of a figure in the distance, a silhouette that sparked recognition. "Your highness?" she called out, her voice carrying a hint of surprise as she began to walk towards him.
"I will come to you." The figure moved closer, and as expected, it was indeed His Highness Prince Sebastian.
"Your highness," Runia began, her voice level, "I must say you are one of a kind."
Sebastian's gaze held a hint of amusement. "I have always received compliments, however, it is a first from a young lady like yourself. I must say I am honored to have captured your gaze."
"Honored you should be," Runia replied, her tone measured. "Nevertheless, it was no compliment. I am sure your power was not meant for you to become a living ghost, was it?"
"Sharp tongue," Sebastian observed, a subtle shift in his expression.
"My lady," he continued, his voice deepening slightly, "I followed you here as you not only left without telling me your name, but also let something else go astray."
"I apologize. It is unfair of me not to have told you my name; I was in a hurry. My name is Runiasy, you can call me Runia. I am from the kingdom of Zir." She offered a polite, albeit brief, bow.
"How have you left something astray?" Sebastian took a deliberate step closer, his presence becoming more pronounced.
"What is it that fled my gaze?" Runia met his eyes, a question in her own.
