"Hold on." Coco interrupted the conversation between Alithe and the village chief, her eyebrows furrowed.
"What is he saying— no, what are you saying, chief? What are you talking about not forcing me into something I don't want to do?" She turned her head to look at Chief Salamandara, a questioning look shot in her direction.
Chief Salamandara cleared her throat and sat upright in her chair. "Well.. Just as I have said.. Alithe is one of my trusted companions who can help us."
"Help us?" Coco inquired, urging the village chief to elaborate.
"Guess what?! We don't care what kind of important companion he is! He's a creep!" The garden fairy exclaimed, stomping her foot on Coco's head.
She had flown by Coco's head while Coco was in the middle of conversation with the village chief, then she sat herself down comfortably on Coco's hair before Coco could start writing her name and signature on the logbook.
