"Dinner's ready!"
Renaldo and Coco perked up from their game when they heard Jacques scream from the kitchen.
Coco dropped her chess piece and sprung up from her chair, looking at the doorway that leads to the kitchen and to the man in front of her.
"I'll clean this up." Renaldo assured her and nudged his head towards the door, "You go ahead. I'm sure my wife will be more than willing and happy to serve some food to you."
"No, let's just hurry and clean this up." Coco crouched down and started separating the black pieces to the white, helping Renaldo clean the mess they made in the wooden center table.
Renaldo placed the pieces on the chess board and closed it before he picked it up, he stood up from his chair and walked over to the shelf, then put it where it was originally placed.
"We're done cleaning up!" Coco informed Jacques as she walked through the door, a large and excited smile on her face.
