"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Coco cried, whimpering as she buried her face in her bed.
"Stop moving and let me treat your wounds properly!" Heiren hissed, his eyebrows furrowed in both annoyance and worry as he dabbed the cotton in the water.
Coco could only let out another sob as a response, her body flinching whenever the liquid stings her wounds.
"I don't like this man, but he's right, Coco! You need to stop moving and let him treat you properly!" The fairy whined, her face twisting into a frown as she winced slightly when Coco let out a cry.
"It stings!" Coco sobbed, her hands tightening against the bedsheets and gripping them without remorse.
"Of course it would sting! They are bleeding and deep enough that they might need stitches! Why would you even carry that damn basket in your back and leave it like this for hours?!" The second husband exclaimed, dabbing the newly wet cotton on the wounds.
