Chapter 130 - Dragon Hunt in Longhua

Ash nodded, his fingers tightening around the scroll. The air in the archives felt heavy, as if the weight of their discovery and the unseen eyes watching them pressed down on the room.

He glanced at Maya, who was already scanning another text, her brow furrowed in concentration. Jagu let out a low growl, a deep vibration through the floor, reminding them they were not alone.

"We should split up," Ash murmured. "Cover more ground. If someone is watching, we don't want them knowing exactly what we're looking for."

Maya hesitated, then gave a short nod. "Fine. You take the dragon lore. I'll check the castle's history and anything related to jade relics. Jagu, stay with Ash."

The jaguar rumbled in agreement, moving closer to Ash as Maya stacked books and shifted to another table, still within earshot but out of direct sight. Ash unrolled another scroll, this one titled *Serpents of the Eternal Sky*.
