"When it's applicable, extract it directly and observe the nature of the power it contains."
Finn didn't dwell too much on the implications. Instead, he silently organized all the creation spells he had arranged. If not handled properly, controlling this energy could become nearly impossible.
To truly command such immense power, every step had to be taken with extreme caution.
If even a single mistake were made, the consequences could be catastrophic.
Thinking about this, Finn's expression grew increasingly grave. He couldn't even begin to fathom the magnitude of the energy's impact. It was immense—so immense that if it were to disperse uncontrollably, it wouldn't just destroy Westview; the entire city of New York could be wiped off the map.
That very thought was why Finn had been so meticulous in gathering and controlling the energy.
It was all to ensure that nothing would spiral beyond his most fundamental expectations—
Or worse, spiral into complete chaos.
"Alright," he muttered, "if I want to extract all this energy later, it shouldn't be too difficult."
Once he completed all the necessary arrangements, Finn didn't linger on the matter. With a wave of his hands, he dispelled all the magical protective wards he had set up.
Then he turned and pushed open the door, stepping out into the corridor.
Outside, he saw two witches engaged in conversation—not about anything ordinary, but most likely regarding the ominous Darkhold.
"What are you two talking about?" Finn asked with a smile, glancing at their clear, composed faces.
He was genuinely curious about their progress with the ancient text. The Darkhold wasn't just any grimoire—it was one of the darkest and most powerful sources of magic known in the multiverse.
While Finn had advanced significantly in the art of creation magic, he suspected the two witches had also gained considerable mastery over the Darkhold during their studies.
The Dark Witch, always the first to speak, replied with a dramatic sigh, "What else? I've been trying to teach her how to handle the Darkhold. Honestly, it's exhausting."
As she spoke, her eyes flicked over toward the Scarlet Witch.
But the latter immediately frowned and retorted, "Don't flatter yourself so much."
Without missing a beat, she pounced, tackling the Dark Witch, and the two of them began to scuffle.
Fortunately, it didn't escalate into a full-blown magical brawl—Finn didn't want to have to intervene again.
This time, he chose not to stop them right away. Instead, he walked over to the large window and let his eyes drift toward the view outside—sunny beaches stretching endlessly under the sky.
Westview's proximity to the coast offered a peaceful view of the waves crashing rhythmically against the shoreline.
It brought a sense of calm. The ocean breeze, even from behind the glass, carried a refreshing quality.
"This weather's perfect for a walk," Finn mused aloud.
He turned back to see the witches still locked in their playful struggle, refusing to let up.
With a sigh, Finn approached and gently pried them apart.
"Alright, you two, cut it out. Let's go out for a walk. We're all bored to death in here. Go get changed—we're heading out."
He sounded exasperated but gentle, fully aware of how difficult it was living with two powerful witches under the same roof.
Thankfully, their relationship had improved significantly. Compared to the animosity they once had, things were considerably more manageable now.
"A walk sounds good," the Scarlet Witch said brightly. "We've been cooped up indoors for too long."
She darted off toward her room to change, clearly eager for some fresh air.
The Dark Witch, however, stood still, watching her go with a knowing expression. She wasn't fooled—she could tell Finn's suggestion had less to do with the weather and more to do with getting them out before another fight broke out.
"Not going to change?" Finn asked, tilting his head.
"She went to change clothes, didn't she?" the Dark Witch replied, then gave a small smile. "Forget it—I'll take care of it myself. It'll save time."
With a graceful wave of her hand, a surge of shadowy magic enveloped her form. Dark energy shimmered and shifted around her body, reshaping her outfit in an instant.
The transformation was seamless, her new attire casual yet stylish. Her appearance subtly altered, not in a deceitful way, but tailored to her own preferences—elegant, effortlessly attractive.
It wasn't her intention to mesmerize anyone. This was simply her natural demeanor—cool, confident, unbothered.
She glanced at Finn and twirled slightly. "How's this?"
The movement was fluid, like a swan gliding through water. Her presence was commanding yet graceful, enhanced by a quiet aloofness that needed no magical enhancement to be felt.
From her flawless skin to her long legs and sharply defined features, she looked every bit the dark enchantress she was reputed to be.
"Looks fine to me," Finn said, nodding. Even with minimal effort, she exuded a quiet, magnetic charm.
Her features, though Western in origin, carried a mystique that might be mistaken for Eastern elegance—delicate, captivating, enigmatic.
The Dark Witch chuckled softly, her voice rich with amusement.
"Is that so? Then my original appearance is what truly captivates you?"
She teased him without any bitterness, clearly enjoying the moment.
Finn offered no answer, just a bemused glance in her direction. Despite the chaos and darkness surrounding them, these brief, quiet moments of levity reminded him of why he continued forward.
Moments like this—anchored in real emotion, not power.
But outside, the world remained perilous. The Darkhold's influence never slept. Neither did the forces beyond the veil that now knew Finn's name.
Still, for now, the sea was calm. The witches weren't fighting. And Finn, wielder of creation magic, allowed himself a rare thing—
A quiet smile.
Because he knew all too well it wouldn't last.
Not when darkness was always watching.
Not when the fabric of reality itself had begun to thin.
