"Wake up," Ernest tried to wake Anastasia' up. After taking her from the palace, he had taken her to his house. After that he had the Physicians help her to sleep.
It was only after doing all this that he remembered that her servants might be worried about her so he sent a message that they could come get her the next day
He wanted to use this opportunity to care for her. He felt that this was the only way he would get the chance to be close to her. Since he learned about her divorce with the king he always thought that there would be a chance for them in the future. Only now did he realize how wrong he was.
Perhaps she still loved the king, sitting beside her for so long, and seeing her condition was stable he decided to leave but at that point she started to struggle in her sleep, Ernest guess that she was having a nightmare, so he tried his best to wake her up but no matter how much he calls, she would not wake up.
She just kept struggling.
