Embervale was a small kingdom, barely able to call itself one, comprising several small villages and towns, as well as a single city, all situated in a massive basin protected by a natural barrier. The main populace consisted of humans, followed by goblins and dark elves.
To the southern kingdoms of Avaria and Gladius, it was a place that shouldn't exist.
The current ruler, Leonhardt Van Arlet, usurped the land from the king of Gladius, who had initially freed the land from the demon emperor.
His title was the King of Goblins, a mere Dungeon Master... yet slowly, but subtly, his name began to linger in the words of men; people spoke of him in taverns and guilds. Leonhardt's notoriety was growing, and his actions and name were now known across the continent, shaking all of humankind...
