I sluggishly peered my eyes open, feeling a ray of sunlight lay gently on my face.
I felt a bit tired and stiff also. I had laid static on my bed so I could easily tell why my muscles felt all tensed up.
Kira moved to my side, having noticed I was awake. She was most likely the one who drew the curtains and made light to ventilate the room.

I slowly touched my neck. It was yet bandaged and a cold cloth was wrapped around my head to suppress the burning pain in my scalp.
I didn't feel pain anymore in my scalp but my neck was a bit still hurting and my throat felt yet slightly sore.
