Kian was on the floor motionless. Was he dead? Almost.
Alya was just taken from him. The prisoners around him weren't friendly or chatty.
One was even grabbing ok the bars and pulling while making weird noises.
He was slowly bleeding out, but as he did he heard a voice.
He looked up and saw Leto. "Kian!"
"L-Leto?"
She pulled out a Key "I stole this, I'm a maid for the prison I may have begged to get it, but looks like it helps."
She opened his cell and sat near him and started tending to his would, but as she did her hand slid up his chest.
Kian looked up at her as she hushed him "You've been tortured for 5 days... The least I can do as a maid, no as your future wife is to make you feel better for the time being."
She leaned down and licked his neck. "How does it feel?"
"Leto what are you doing? Help me get up so-"
"Shh, not right now, actually... Why even worry, I bet everyone is dead by now. So why not just let your remaining wife take care of you?"
"That's not true!"
"I saw Kaede... She's... Dead"
Kian's eyes widened "No! That's a lie! YOUR lying!"
She hushed him and unbuttoned her maid dress as she brought her face close to his.
"Leto, May I ask you a question before..."
"Yes my darling!"
"Are you... No, did you tell Cadis we had Khione?"
Leto's face darkened then her wife smile appeared "Oh dear, was I that clumsy?" She smiled wickedly
"Yes I did, What you thought I cared about that bitch? She was nothing, but aid for me."
"What do you mean by that?" Kian although pissed off kept his composure. The trail had shaped him for this.
"You see I used to be a Spy for Cadis. I was a true spy that loved the King with all my heart, but when that bitch ran away, the King saw me as useless and threw me away."
She initiated strangling someone "All I wanted was to kill her, end her damn life. I wanted revenge, but... I got an Idea. I'd just find her. That's when I found Selene's parents and... You."
"You planned this from the very start!"
"What you thought I loved you? I never loved you. Actually the only reason I accepted being your future wife so that I could bring you here and enslave your little brain with seduction and then send you off to the King. That way... HE'D LOVE ME EVEN MORE!"
"Once I found you had Khione. I attempted to kill you, but then you came back to life, so I saw this as an even better Idea, but I had to know why you could. I read every book until..."
The scene where Kian asked Leto what she was reading appears
"I found the book of the 5 Kings and that answered everything! Then I just knew I had to keep you. So I planned to kill you knowing you'd revive and kill everyone else, but... You know the rest, so when we were going on the wagon ride and stopping I told Cadis I had Khione and to be on high alert. With a letter of course that I made one of those traders do it for some gold."
"Then once we we're at that cabin I had left the house to tell the owner Khione was here then snuck into Khione's room to prepare for her arrest."
Kian grabbed her and threw her to the side accidentally pulling at the stitches Leto made, he fell to the ground in pain.
"Well, how about this. I give you a choice. Follow me as my dear slave and let them die alone, or stay here tortured as they die also. Either way they're gonna die. Choose wisely Kian."
"I'll never... Follow someone like you!"
Leto frowned and grabbed a sharp rock "Well, just know this time it'll be me who tortures you, and my torture isn't just physical... It's mental as well!"
She pierced his throat with the rock he slowly died.
When he revived she stood there smiling "Let's have fun!"
She plunged his ears with the rock as he screamed rendering his basically dead, then she pierced his eyes making him blind.
Then after that she sat down watching him yell, but now he couldn't see or hear. He was alone, with nothing, but his thoughts.
Leto then began to lightly tap on his back and make small movements on him to make it feel like something was on him, thus began his mental torture.
"Kaede, h-help me..." He remembered the days she had always done so, so wouldn't she be here now?"
Leto began to run his back gently and whispered in his ear although only the sensation was there, because he couldn't hear.
She comforted him giving him the illusion that he was near Kaede or someone.
"Please get me out of here?!"
Leto lifted him up, and walked him to the bars.
"Are we leaving? How did you get out?"
Then Leto dropped him
"Kaede! Wait no, don't leave me, don't go!"
He tried to stand, but accidentally numbed his head against the bars.
Leto began to laugh at him, before grabbing the rock and pushing it into his head.
When he came back, he still couldn't see. At least just white, was it silk or string?
He could hear though and he heard footsteps approaching him. "Who's there!?"
Leto laid on his back and whispered in his ear.
"Just me, it's was always just me. You don't have to worry about anything. I'm here for you, because they weren't. Do you feel safe now?" She kissed his cheek.
"Get off of me!"
"No I can't, not yet!" I kissed his cheek once more then his neck.
She tried to move, but it wouldn't work.
"It's okay darling, I'm here, shhh. Let your wife do her job."
"Shut up!"
"They've already forgotten you, I'm sure they're gone. Gone gone gone... Yet you rebuke the only person who stayed near... The woman who comforted you."
"SHUT UP!"
"Okay then..."
She killed him again and tortured him again.
Then Again and Again and Again.
Each time breaking him more than the last.
Was she gonna win over his mind or would he be able to resist all the way till help arrived.
