The next morning, twenty people gathered in front of the Gates of Siterion. Their appearance clearly showed they were Holy Paladins. The City Guard, reluctantly, opened the city gate for them. The twenty paladins were led by the City Guard to where Hailey and her team were waiting.
As the city woke up, the Paladins began their investigation. Based on Arin's tips, Hailey and Paul had organized the search order. Secret instructions on where to look in specific places were also given, just as Arin had shared the night before.
And so it began.
The first house – nothing was found.
The second house – nothing.
The third house – again, a failure.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth houses all ended in failure.
