Chapter 61 - Ch.061 Eri, Are You Pregnant?

[~2200 Words]

Fujiwara Takuya felt an overwhelming urge to smack Miyano Akemi.

What was she thinking? Was she accusing him of being perverse?

While he did harbor feelings for the three female police officers, he would never stoop to such depravity.

He had simply invited them for late-night snacks, seeking a closer connection with the hope of eventually winning them over.

The thought of inappropriate behavior towards them while drunk was abhorrent to him. [T/N: Look who´s talking ]

He restrained his anger and forced himself to stay calm.

Akemi was his woman, and she even looked forward to his nightly treats.

To harm her would be unthinkable. No matter what, he couldn't bring himself to do anything to hurt Akemi.

"Take off the clothes of all three of them," Takuya demanded.

"What? Are you trying to... do something to them and asking me to remove their clothes?" Akemi retorted, her voice laced with fury. "You are going too far."

She couldn't believe his audacity.

He was asking her to participate in this disgusting act, trying to drag her into the water and make her an accomplice. Never!

She would never do such a thing. If Takuya were ever arrested for his actions, she wouldn't be able to escape his consequences.

"I refuse," Akemi declared firmly and righteously. "Even if you want to be perverted, I won't become your accomplice. I am a respectable person."

Akemi refused point-blank, her stance unwavering. She would not become Takuya's lackey in his depraved scheme.

"Get lost! I asked you to take off their clothes just to scare them so they wouldn't drink so carelessly in the future," he insisted, trying to justify his actions with a flimsy excuse. "Today it's me, glorious and upright, so I won't do anything excessive. If it were someone else, they would have r@ped the three of them over and over again."

At this moment, Takuya felt a surge of self-righteousness, believing himself to be more virtuous than anyone else. He saw himself as a hero, rescuing these women from their own recklessness.

Miyano Akemi simply stared at him, deeply unconvinced by his justifications. She seriously doubted the sincerity of his words and couldn't help but scoff internally. "You are delusional."

"You go out first, and leave the rest to me. Remember not to come into the room casually," Akemi ordered, pushing Takuya out of the room.

He didn't protest; he knew her disapproval was futile.

He was confident that his plan would succeed regardless. The sight of them would be enough to satisfy his desires, even if he couldn't have them physically for now.

The next day dawned bright and early.

Takuya took advantage of his superior resistance to alcohol and woke up before the other female officers.

It wasn't easy for them to rouse themselves after a night of heavy drinking. If they didn't sleep until past ten, they might not even wake up.

As time passed, it was around ten o'clock when Yumi Miyamoto stirred awake. A pounding headache accompanied her grogginess.

"It hurts so much," she groaned, clutching her head. "I shouldn't have drunk so much."

After a while, Yumi finally recovered enough to think clearly. She looked around confusedly and realized she was in someone else's home. Her clothes were gone.

She noticed numerous torn stockings scattered on the floor. Panic welled up inside her; could they have been assaulted? They had consumed too much alcohol and lost control, becoming vulnerable targets for predators.

"Miwako, Miike, wake up quickly," Miyamoto called out to her companions, her voice trembling with fear.

Yumi, along with Naeko Miike and Sato Miwako, slowly and finally regained consciousness.

They too felt disoriented and confused. Their memories were hazy, but they shared a chilling realization: something terrible had happened.

All three women seemed to have been violated. The thought horrified them, especially considering they all had boyfriends. What if their partners abandoned them now that they had been defiled?

Miike and Miwako couldn't help but sob uncontrollably. They had simply gone out for a drink and ended up victims of such a horrific attack.

"Stop crying and call the police immediately," Yumi urged, snapping back to reality. They needed justice for what had been done to them.

However, when she picked up the phone, her mind raced with conflicting thoughts. They were police officers themselves, how could anyone have dared to assault them? The situation seemed impossible.

Suddenly, the door opened and Akemi walked in.

"You are awake," Akemi announced calmly.

Yumi, along with Miike Naeko and Sato Miwako, stared at Akemi with a mixture of fear and suspicion. They tried to piece together what had happened during their blackout. Who was this woman? What did she know about the events of the previous night?

"It was Takuya last night," Akemi confirmed, her tone betraying no emotion.

Miike gasped. "Officer Fujiwara? Could it be that Officer Fujiwara attacked us last night?"

She couldn't believe it. How could their esteemed colleague have done such a thing? Their image of Takuya as a respectable and honorable man shattered into pieces.

"Yes, it was indeed Takuya last night," Akemi reiterated, confirming their worst fears.

However, the reality wasn't quite as horrifying as they imagined.

Takuya, listening from outside the room, seethed with anger at Miyano Akemi's betrayal. This girl had turned against him and was ruining his reputation. He would make sure she paid for this treachery in the future.

"Don't give me that crap," Takuya shouted through the door. "I just tore off your stockings. I didn't do anything else."

He couldn't let this go unchallenged. He needed to protect his image and clear his name from these false accusations.

Yumi exchanged uneasy glances with her companions. They weren't sure who was telling the truth.

"Really didn't do anything?" Yumi questioned, still doubtful but seeking clarification.

Miwako and Naeko Miike also pricked up their ears, hanging onto every word. The situation remained unclear, leaving them in a state of confusion and distress.

Akemi tried to smooth things over. "Don't worry, no one attacked you." she assured them. "It was just a joke."

If anything had actually happened, they wouldn't have survived the ordeal, especially given how close they were to being dismissed from the force. She had to make sure they didn't get hurt any further.

"It seems to be true," Sato Miwako said thoughtfully. "I heard that losing your virginity for the first time can be very painful, but I didn't feel any pain at all except for a headache."

She felt incredibly embarrassed sharing this detail, but luckily, they were all women and understood the gravity of the situation.

Yumi nodded in agreement, her mind reeling from the implications. The situation was indeed strange; it seemed like something had happened but not quite what they initially feared.

"Nothing happened last night," Akemi explained quickly, trying to clarify the situation. "Officer Fujiwara just wanted to tear off your stockings and let me take off your clothes to see if you dare to drink so much again. If you do it again, Officer Fujiwara will take all of you home late at night and show you what regret is."

This was a blatant lie, but it seemed like the best way to calm the situation down. She had no idea what actually happened during their blackout, but she needed to protect Fujiwara Takuya's reputation.

"That was close call," Miwako remarked with relief. "I will never drink so much again."

She was fortunate to have escaped unscathed from whatever had transpired. The experience left her shaken and vowing to be more cautious in the future.

Yumi also nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude for their good fortune. If someone else had been involved, they might not have been so lucky.

"Okay, stop talking nonsense and come out to have breakfast," Akemi said firmly, trying to shift the focus. "You have to go to work in the afternoon after breakfast."

Takuya was knocking on the door outside. He shouldn't have drunk with these people last night. He gained nothing from it but unwanted attention and misunderstandings.

"Hurry up and get dressed," Miwako Sato said, quickly gathering her clothes. The sight of their stockings strewn across the floor only amplified their disorientation and embarrassment.

As they got dressed, Fujiwara Takuya felt a surge of satisfaction. He was about to have his breakfast in peace.

After breakfast, he had to go to work in the afternoon. Although he didn't have anything pressing at the moment, he still had to attend his classes.

His biggest dream was to become the Metropolitan Police Commissioner and then run for prime minister. After that, he would eliminate those factions who were constantly trying to undermine him.

Meanwhile, Kisaki Eri found herself back in her hometown with her parents.

Since the arrival of a new drug to treat uremia, her father's condition had significantly improved.

She came back to celebrate his recovery and spend some quality time with her loved ones after months of separation.

Eri stayed at her parents' house for the entire night and woke up very early the next morning. But her parents were already awake, preparing breakfast as usual.

Her Parent´s knew about Eri's exceptional cooking skills, but they were too scared to let her prepare breakfast. They feared that she might accidentally poison them.

"Eri, breakfast is ready," Her father called out from the kitchen.

Eri walked to the dining table, picked up her chopsticks, and began eating the porridge leisurely.

"Eri, what have you thought about? Are you going to be with that adulterer...that man, or start over with Kogoro?" Her mother asked, concern evident in her voice.

Mr. Kisaki nodded in agreement, his eyes fixed on Eri. They were worried about their daughter's emotional well-being.

Eri felt a blush creep up her cheeks. "Father," she murmured, slightly embarrassed. How could he speak so openly about such a sensitive topic?

"I don't know," Eri replied, trying to avoid her father's gaze. "I prefer Fujiwara Takuya. He makes me feel at ease. I don't mind if we don't get married."

Her parents looked at each other in disbelief. They couldn't understand why their daughter was so drawn to this man, especially considering his reputation.

"Eri, do you have any ideas? What if someone finds out, what if Ran finds out, or that idiot Kogoro finds out?" Mr. Kisaki asked earnestly.

They were concerned that Eri's actions could damage her reputation and potentially harm her future prospects.

"Mom, I don't know either," Eri confessed, feeling overwhelmed by their disapproval. "I prefer Fujiwara Takuya. He makes me feel at ease. I don't mind if we don't get married."

Her parents sighed in exasperation. It seemed like their daughter had made up her mind and nothing they said would change it.

"Daughter, if you really like Takuya, we will help you talk to Kogoro, divorce secretly, and then get a marriage certificate with Fujiwara Takuya," Mrs. Kisaki suggested cautiously, trying to find a solution that would appease both their daughter and preserve her reputation.

"This way, even if it is discovered in the future, there is no need to worry about being condemned by others. Let's keep it secret from Ran first."

Eri was touched by their efforts to support her, but she hesitated.

How could she explain that Takuya already had a girlfriend? She hadn't cared about it before, but now that she was developing feelings for him and even contemplating having a child with him, the situation became much more complicated.

"Why are you silent?" Mr. Kisaki pressed further, his gaze piercing.

As Eri was about to respond, she suddenly felt a wave of nausea wash over her. Her stomach churned violently, and she rushed towards the kitchen, desperately trying to suppress the urge to vomit, but nothing came up.

"What's going on?" Mrs. Kisaki asked, alarmed by her daughter's sudden distress.

With trembling lips, Mrs. Kisaki asked in dread, "Daughter, are you pregnant?"

Mr. Kisaki was furious.

If she hadn't separated from Kogoro Mouri, it wouldn't have mattered if she was pregnant. He could simply treat the child as a grandchild.

But now, Kisaki Eri had not divorced Kogoro Mori and was with another man. The child must be Officer Fujiwara Takuya's.

He couldn't believe his daughter had brought such shame upon their family.

Kisaki Eri can't stay with Mori Kogoro; she should marry Fujiwara Takuya and have this child as soon as she can.

About Kogoro Mori, seriously, don't kid yourself. He won't fall for it. This child isn't his since Eri has been living on her own for years.

[That´s all for now]
