"If it's truly necessary, I'm not against sacrificing myself," Yali said. "But since, as you claim, it was you who lured the Undead Calamity Electrolux to the Tianxuan Continent, I want to ask you—did you ever consider how many would die because of you when you brought Electrolux here?"
Yali suddenly looked up, and for the first time, her previously gentle gaze turned sharp. Her voice rose loudly:
"The Tianxuan Continent—one-fifth of its land has been invaded by demons. Do you know how many living beings were devoured by them? Do you know how many soldiers—human, beastkin, and elf—have died over the past millennia trying to resist these invaders?
"Do you know that twelve human emperors, ten elven queens, and nine beast emperors died on the demon battlefield?
"Do you know how many children lost their fathers because of you? How many wives lost their husbands? How many elderly parents lost their children? Do you know any of this?"
Seeing Yali's fierce expression, Tang San was stunned. For a moment, he actually felt as though he was the one being interrogated.
That momentary vulnerability enraged him. He was a God King—who dared question him? But to maintain his image, he still smiled and explained, "These sacrifices were necessary. For Tianxuan to increase its dimensional power, sacrifice was inevitable. I believe the people of Tianxuan were willing."
"You believe they were willing? Did you ever ask them?" Yali's voice boomed like thunder, overwhelming and furious.
Yali was furious now. She was increasingly convinced that the Abyss Plane which had once invaded the Douluo Plane had also been lured in by Tang San.
All for the same performance—so he could once again "save" a world and be remembered by its people.
Tang San defended, "I did nothing wrong. To give our descendants a better cultivation environment, any sacrifice is worth it. I believe the warriors of Tianxuan are willing as well." But he knew this was a topic he could not afford to keep arguing.
His tone changed abruptly as he said coldly, "Electrolux is about to break free. If you're not willing to sacrifice yourself, just say it. No need to talk in circles."
Not giving Yali any chance to reply, Tang San turned his back and looked toward Electrolux. "You're right—there's less than a minute now. No, only thirty seconds left. But that's enough time. One final thing, Necromancer God Electrolux—the Undead Calamity—on this continent, I also have my great-grandfather and great-grandmother."
As he said this, Tang San gave a deep bow toward the sky.
And at that moment, a brilliant seven-colored light descended from the heavens. A tall man with black hair and black eyes appeared, holding a massive hammer.
"Haotian Venerable!" cheers erupted from the human army.
The hammer in the Haotian Venerable's hand transformed into radiant rainbow colors and rapidly expanded to a hundred times its size. With unstoppable force, it smashed down toward Electrolux.
In the instant the hammer descended, Electrolux's expression shifted rapidly—from shock to horror to bitter unwillingness.
"No—impossible! How can a material plane's lord take shape…"
But before he could finish, the rainbow hammer landed with an earth-shattering roar. Thunderous divine force exploded, and Electrolux's body was smashed into countless fragments—reduced to gray-white death energy.
The death energy tried to flee, scattering in all directions toward the nine Death Gates.
But at that moment, a silent figure appeared in midair.
It was a woman—stunningly beautiful, with sea-blue hair flowing down to nearly touch the ground. Her face was serene, around thirty years old. In her right hand, she held a golden staff three meters long, etched with magical runes. At the head of the staff was a spear-like diamond point, five inches beneath which was a gem of the same shape.
"Sea God Venerable!" The beastkin army now joined the cheering.
The Sea God Venerable swept her golden staff, and in that instant, a wave of azure oceanic power surged out, transforming into a vast net that wrapped around the fleeing death energy and quickly devoured it.
Electrolux's aura rapidly faded and disappeared.
In the next moment, the Death Gates shattered, and an overwhelming surge of death energy poured forth.
Seeing this, Tang San immediately shouted toward Yali, "Why aren't you sacrificing yourself yet?! Do you really want to see Tianxuan become a world of undead?!"
Yali coldly snorted, "Heh… I want to see how you handle this mess."
She stopped arguing. Sitting cross-legged midair, powerful life law energy radiated from her body. Behind her, an enormous ancient tree began to manifest.
The trunk was so massive it would take a hundred people to encircle it. The vast canopy stretched endlessly like a giant green cloud.
Every branch held countless leaves, and from each burst a surging, powerful vitality—as if millions of new lives were being born at once.
Yali channeled emerald-green light down from the tree. Countless pale green specks of light drifted from its crown, landing on her and forming a luminous aura that made her appear ethereal and radiant.
She then rooted the massive tree directly in front of the nine Death Gates.
As soon as the death energy emerged, it was swept up and absorbed by the giant tree.
What happened next stunned Tang San—the death energy, upon contact with the tree's life energy, was not just neutralized but converted—transformed into pure life force, which was then released again into the world.
Life Conversion?!
Turning death into life?!
"The Tree of Life… Life Conversion… Who exactly are you? What's your connection to the Goddess of Life?" Tang San shouted. As one of the Five God Kings, he was deeply familiar with the Goddess of Life's supreme divine weapon—the Tree of Life.
He was certain—this was the Tree of Life.
And it had initiated Life Conversion.
Given Yali's strength, such conversion wasn't surprising.
What was shocking was the speed of the conversion.
No one at Yali's level should have been capable of such rapid and total Life Conversion.
At this moment, Tang San was completely convinced—Yali must be connected to the Goddess of Life.
"I told you from the beginning—I am the Goddess of Life," Yali said coldly, glaring at Tang San. "Now that the issue of death energy is resolved, shall we return to the matter of the countless lives lost because of you?"
"The Goddess of Life sacrificed herself for the God Realm. I will not allow anyone to profane her name. You dare impersonate her?! You seek death!" Tang San shouted. "Great-grandfather, great-grandmother—let us take her down and restore the Goddess of Life's honor!"
His expression was full of righteous fury. His fists clenched as though genuinely enraged.
"Ha!" Yali scoffed. She wasn't falsely borrowing the Goddess of Life's name to gather faith power.
If she became a god now, it would be through life law—she would truly become a Life Goddess.
She had indeed learned many things from the Goddess of Life. And if the God Realm returned, the Goddess herself would gladly pass the divine seat to her.
