Just then, Thea limped into the room, wrapped in bandages from head to toe.
"Thea! What happened to you?" Chantelle rushed over, shocked, and helped her onto the sofa.
Thea burst into tears of joy when she saw Chantelle awake. She began telling the story of what had happened the day before as if it were a scene straight out of an action movie.
"How bad are your injuries? Are you okay?" Chantelle asked, worried as she looked at Thea, who was covered in bandages from head to toe. The smell of antiseptic strongly filled the air.
"She's fine. Just surface wounds," Philip answered for Thea. "Didn't you see how vigorous she was while telling you what happened the other day?"
"Hey! I'm still seriously injured, okay?" Thea huffed. "Yesterday, you all rushed to help Chantelle and left me in the car! I haven't even complained about that yet!"
She quickly looked down, and pouted her lips, feeling a bit hurt.
