In July, Tokyo is either drenched in rainy season or sweltering with high humidity and heat, with heatwaves distorting the air.
Uesugi Sakura, already seated in the resting area in just a short-sleeved shirt, felt uncomfortable watching them. Weren't they hot in those thick protective gears?
"Why not turn on the air conditioning?"
Hanamaru Yugetsu, continuously fanning himself, voiced the inner protest of Uesugi Sakura.
His sunglasses and jacket were tossed aside, leaving only a white T-shirt and a crystal necklace exposed.
"Mr. Hanamaru, are you feeling hot?" Higashiyama Chizu, her face glistening with sweat, leaned in and asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Hanamaru Yugetsu pointed at his forehead and hers, both sticky with hair, and asked in confusion, "Aren't you hot?"
"I think it's okay..." Higashiyama Chizu nodded and then said, "If Mr. Hanamaru needs, I can turn it on right now."
