I tapped my finger against the glass window, looking at the siren that was safe to watch because of the barrier between us.
There was a grin on Henry's face as he raised his hand to touch the spot my finger was placed.
The bright lighting on the ceiling had been turned off when we entered the capsules; now the room was only dimly lit, and the glass in the little window was dyed darkly. It should have been pitch black from the inside when you closed your eyes.
Because of our supersight, naturally nothing hindered us from seeing each other; however, with a single touch of his, reaching out for me, I had to step back because the door opened automatically.
