Silas's POV
"Silas, I know there is nothing between us, but still, I shouldn't have done what I did in the past. I told you so many bad things and even sent goons to kill you."
"I know apologizing to you won't make any difference, but still... I'm sorry about everything, Silas. Please, please forgive me. Give me punishment. Hit me. You can do whatever you want with me, but please forgive me."
While saying this, he bent down, and his head touched my feet. His hands were also on my feet, and he started to cry. Of course, his tears were dripping on my feet. That's how I knew he was crying.
"Kael, stand up. Don't do this. And you were right—even if you apologize, it won't change anything."
He looked up, and his crying face was really heartbreaking.
I didn't know what to say anymore, because he was sitting there crying. Should I comfort him? But then again, whenever I thought something like that, I remembered what he did to me.
