Mesmerised and completely enthralled, I watched his safe space. This was where he let loose, became whoever he wished without the fear of being judged by the people he knew.
Opening the cupboard he extracted all the masks inside and put them on one by one, taking my opinion, by parading in front of me like a fashion model.
The skin-tight black attire, paired with the masks, made him appear like some demigod. His toned legs moved with rhythm, which made me inhale deeply and made it impossible not to gawk at him like a lunatic.
"You look perfect in everything, no wonder girls drool over you."
He tilted his head under the trickster mask, which had a sinister smile etched on it, and I knew he was wearing a similar one underneath.
"The only girl I want to drool over me, is you."
His voice had enhanced and changed, deepened even further.
Taking it off he brought the mask closer and showed me the mechanism, a small disk-like voice-changing device.
