Gabriel rolled his eyes and leaned back against him anyway, tired, warm, and far too aware of the hands on his hips.
Damian's hands slid down on his hips and thighs, slowly until he reached between them.
"Damian." Gabriel said before a moan escaped his lips.
"What? I'm just making sure you are thoroughly cleaned."
Gabriel exhaled sharply, a sound caught halfway between exasperation and surrender. His head tilted back against Damian's shoulder, neck exposed to the steam and the breath ghosting over his skin.
"You are insufferable," he muttered, the words shaky now, edged with heat.
Damian's lips brushed the shell of his ear. "And yet you keep letting me in the shower."
"Letting? You sneak in," Gabriel muttered, but the words were thin, brittle, already unraveling under the heat curling up his spine.
