208 THE GIFT OF A SPY
"You could call it that," Yun-Yun said with a small smile.
The three of them began studying the second tier of the Codex. As before, Petunia was the first to finish, her magic surging forward with another breakthrough. But she didn't unravel the mysteries of the realm.
Meanwhile, Yun-Yun and Leo delved deeper into the Codex's consciousness.
For Yun-Yun, it unveiled new and intricate magical runes, while Leo learned advanced programming commands and languages.
They spent an entire day in this state of enlightenment before emerging.
"What did you learn?" Petunia asked eagerly when they awoke.
"I've mastered new runes and magical connections," Yun-Yun said, her excitement evident as she immediately set off to practice, drawing magic runes in the air.
Leo stretched and replied, "I've learned more commands, but it's still not enough. Once we find more Giga Codices, I'll be closer to reprogramming this world."
Petunia raised an eyebrow. "And who's that girl you brought back from the Temple of Assassins?"
"Her name is Sujira," Leo replied. "She's my reward for saving Sodom City from the demon army—my new bodyguard."
"She looks more like an assassin to me," Petunia muttered.
Yun-Yun crossed her arms. "The Temple of Assassins must be wary of you. Sending a spy to follow you is no coincidence."
Leo paused, his expression darkening. "I inspected Sujira's magic. Her codes are eerily similar to those assassin brides from Eoloth—the ones from the Temple of Hera."
"Is she from the Temple of Hera?" Yun-Yun asked.
Leo summoned the bodies of the brides they had retrieved, and Yun-Yun examined them carefully before storing them within the jade throne.
"Why keep those wretched bodies?" Petunia asked, wrinkling her nose. "They've lost their souls and Cakras. Do we need more hands on the massage throne?"
"I'm trying something new," Yun-Yun replied. "Before, I was stuck due to a lack of knowledge. But after studying the second tier of the Giga Codex, I think I can complete my work."
"What are you trying to create? Resurrecting them?" Leo asked, curious.
"I'm not resurrecting them exactly," Yun-Yun explained. "I'm reanimating the bodies."
"Why?" Petunia asked, her tone skeptical.
Yun-Yun smirked. "We're short on guards in this dungeon. The Amara warriors are unreliable. A legion of undead fighters will be far more efficient."
"That's a fantastic idea," Leo said, nodding approvingly.
"It is possible we might even extract some previous memories from the reanimated subjects", Yun-Yun said.
"Really!! Then we will know everything about the Temple of Hera", Leo asked excitedly.
"The memories may not be complete", she replied.
"Its better than nothing."
"What about Sujira?" Petunia asked.
"If her magic signature matches the brides in Eoloth, she's either from the Temple of Hera, if such a place truly exists or the Temple of Assassins," Leo said. "Either way, we should keep an eye on her."
"Why not just kick her out if she's so fucking dangerous?" Petunia suggested.
"No," Yun-Yun interjected. "That would raise suspicion. Besides, it's better to keep the enemy close, where we can watch her, rather than have our enemies watch us from the shadows."

[Outside the Auction Hall of Sodom City]
Sujira was a young woman, nearing twenty. Her tanned skin bore the marks of countless hours spent training under the sun, a testament to her rigorous discipline. She was a battlemage honed in fighting.
Her strength was extraordinary—on par with, if not surpassing, the mightiest of Amara warriors. Yet, unlike their heavily muscular physiques, her body remained slender and elegantly proportioned.
Her power came not from brute physicality but from years of intense magical training.
Despite her lack of adornment or makeup, her natural beauty was undeniable—a striking presence that required no embellishment.
Sujira shadowed Leo with unwavering diligence, her sharp eyes constantly scanning for danger, her mind ever vigilant. She was the epitome of a bodyguard, perfectly suited to protect a young master like Lilleo Gullee.
"Isn't that Lilleo Gullee? Why are you here today? Shouldn't you be off fornicating in your whorehouse?" sneered Milwe of the Cergontyn family.
Leo did not reply to him.
"We came to catch you peeing in your mother's underpants!" Grammers shouted back, his voice loud and brash.
Grammers was Leo's ever-loyal sidekick. He was quick to fire back at any insult directed at his young master.
"Shut up, you panty-chaser! Don't think I don't know who you are. You're the sissy who follows that bitch Megane around!" Milwe retorted, his words dripping with venom.
Grammers, unable to hold back his anger charged forward, fists clenched.
The Cergontyn family guards sprang into action, moving swiftly to intercept Grammers. He was hopelessly outnumbered. Despite his sharp tongue, Grammers lacked the overwhelming strength to match his taunting.
"You can talk big all you want, but against our guards, you're nothing!" Milwe jeered as the guards surrounded Grammers.
Leo, observing the scene, remained silent, a smirk playing on his lips.
He found the exchange entertaining. With Grammers around, he didn't always have to play the bully himself—a task that could grow tedious.
That role is now delegated to Grammers.
The Cergontyn guards closed in, their bodies glowing with the apparitions of powerful magical beasts- their body transformation sutras. These were no ordinary fighters but powerful mid-tier Svads, and Grammers was clearly out of his league.
"Help me, young master!" Grammers shouted, panic creeping into his voice.
Unlike the ideal bully's sidekick, Grammers lacked the ability to back up his bluster with actual strength.
Before Leo could respond, Sujira stepped forward.
"I'll take care of this, master", Sujira said simply.
Her movement was calm and almost imperceptible. Shadows of herself split off and darted toward the Cergontyn guards. Those shadows were not mere illusions or summonings but real parts of herself.
In a flash, the shadows struck with precision, taking down the guards one by one.
"Strikes of Shadows"
They collapsed to the ground, battered and humiliated. As quickly as they had appeared the shadows quickly returned to Sujira.
