"Dean, what's the level of those two?" Tang San was the first to ask the crucial question.
Flender replied, "He is a soul Emperor level, and he won't use soul skills."
Most of the group relaxed their tension, especially Ma Hongjun, who carelessly said, "Teacher, don't worry. We promise to complete the task."
After finishing, he added with a sly grin, "But it's better for your two invited guest to be careful. We wouldn't want them to be accidentally injured by us."
"Just keep that confidence," Flender said with a smile, though his heart harbored mischief.
They had no idea how strong Xiao Tianyang had become.
But one thing was certain: Xiao Tianyang would only be stronger than before!
The most important detail was his soul power level—level 45!
Achieving such a feat at his age was extraordinary.
Moreover, Xiao Tianyang could fight across levels and perform exceptionally well.
Thus, he was rated at the Soul Emperor level, though this assessment still didn't account for his lack of a true martial soul body (Martial Soul True Body). Otherwise, his rating would be even higher.
If Tang San and the others underestimated the combination of Xiao Tianyang and Saber, they would undoubtedly fall into a trap.
However, just as Flender began imagining Tang San and the others being thoroughly beaten, Zhu Zhuqing, who rarely spoke, suddenly asked, "Dean, besides this, are there any other requirements?"
The question caught Flender off guard, but he quickly nodded. "Yes. If you can take the token pinned around his waist, you win."
"What if he hides it on purpose?" Oscar raised his hand and asked. "After all, he is a Soul Emperor. If he decides to play hide-and-seek with us, we might as well admit defeat."
"Don't worry," Flender assured. "The token will be pinned to his waist. He won't hide it deliberately or reveal his flaws. Whether you can get it depends on your ability."
He added, "During this period, you can use any means—deception, tricks, stealing, anything goes."
"That makes it much easier," Ma Hongjun said with a wicked smile.
The group nodded in understanding.
At that moment, Ning Rongrong, who had remained silent, spoke up. "Dean, isn't Tianyang coming back?"
"He's already on his way," Flender replied, glancing at her with a soft smile. "You don't have to worry. Don't you know the strength of his teacher?"
"Who's worried about him? I'm just asking," Ning Rongrong blushed and lowered her head.
"Then, for this trip, won't he come with us?" Zhu Zhuqing asked tentatively. "Or does he have other arrangements?"
Hearing this, Flender and the others felt their hearts skip a beat. Even Liu Erlong, a woman herself, looked at Zhu Zhuqing in surprise.
Was this the intuition of a women?
But Flender, being the seasoned man he was, knew how to hide his thoughts.
After a brief pause, he smiled and said, "What arrangements could there be? His teacher has been overseeing his training for the past five months. We've only received a few letters, and I've shown you all the contents, haven't I?"
Zhu Zhuqing didn't fully accept this answer but nodded obediently. She had no evidence, and her intuition alone couldn't pinpoint Xiao Tianyang's current whereabouts.
Yet, earlier that day, her heart had inexplicably throbbed, similar to how a cat senses fish or a shark smells blood. This was due to her newly evolved martial spirit.
She didn't know why she had this ability, nor had she told anyone about it. She had planned to discuss it with Xiao Tianyang upon his return, but he was still on his way.
Still, Zhu Zhuqing firmly believed in the throbbing she had felt. It wasn't that she distrusted Flender and the others, but the timing was too coincidental.
Once everything was arranged, the group set off toward the Sunset Forest outside the city.
During the journey, Tang San discussed team arrangements with Dai Mubai and the others. They had already practiced their coordination in recent days, and each member had a clear understanding of their role.
Dai Mubai was the frontal attacker, tasked with engaging one or two opponents on the front line.
Tang San handled control and command, stepping in as the main attacker if the enemy breached their formation.
Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing were agility-based attackers, with one containing the opponent and the other flanking and targeting the backline.
Ma Hongjun provided ranged damage and backline protection.
Ning Rongrong served as the support, while Oscar handled logistics and supply.
In essence, they functioned as a cohesive unit rather than just a team.
As for substitutes or Xiao Tianyang's eventual return, their overall dynamic wouldn't be disrupted. They had recently practiced with substitutes, and while their coordination wasn't perfect, it was solid.
Xiao Tianyang, in particular, was a jack-of-all-trades. If any member of the Shrek Seven Monsters were removed, he could seamlessly fill their role.
It's worth noting that these specialized terms were introduced to Tang San by Xiao Tianyang at some point. Tang San found them intriguing and began incorporating them into their strategy.
Watching the lively scene behind him, Flender turned his head and smiled while stroking his beard. "It seems your proposal has fully ignited their fighting spirit. This is going to be interesting. I'm really looking forward to the outcome of this test."
"You don't need to look forward to it. Tang San and the others have no chance of winning," Yu Xiaogang said, shaking his head. "I've known Tianyang since he was a child. What's most terrifying about him isn't his current strength but the speed he grows."
He glanced at Flender. "Don't you think every time he leaves and returns, he brings us new surprises?"
"That's true," Flender nodded thoughtfully.
After a pause, he asked, "But you trained them yourself. Logically, you shouldn't be so lacking in confidence, right?"
Yu Xiaogang gave a wry smile. "You're only half right."
Flender was puzzled. "Why only half?"
"Have you forgotten where all my training plans come from?" Yu Xiaogang said, glancing at him. "Also, don't forget that when Tianyang was here, he helped lead the training."
Now Flender understood. The reason Tang San and the others stood no chance was that Xiao Tianyang knew them too well. From the start, the test was unfair.
Flender finally nodded, a playful smile forming on his lips. "I didn't expect you to mean that. I was careless."
"I think they still have a chance of winning," a voice interjected.
The two turned in surprise to see Liu Erlong.
Yu Xiaogang asked, "Where does their chance lie?"
"Her," Liu Erlong hinted, gesturing behind them.
Yu Xiaogang and Flender exchanged stunned glances.
