It didn't take long, and they arrived at the top floor of the Davies building. A beautiful secretary greeted them and showed them to the chairman's office.
Seated behind the massive wooden table, Jacob Davies was signing a document. Afterward, he handed the folder to his assistant and fixed his gaze on the couple before him.
Rebecca's gaze fell on the fountain pen Jacob had used. The design was familiar as it belonged to her great-grandfather, one of many designs the Herberts had stolen from her family.
"Mr. Da Silva, it's you again, and you weren't alone this time."
"Hello, Chairman Davies. I'm only here to help my boss, so don't mind me." Enoch glanced at Rebecca, who shot him a warning stare.
"Your boss?" The chairman was visibly surprised by what Enoch said. He studied the two for a moment, then nodded in understanding. "You didn't mention that she was here in Dream City and representative of Anton Park."
