Ethan reappeared among the demonic beasts, continuing his rampage. These monsters were much stronger than the previous man-eaters and could actually deal some damage. The Hellfire effect caused unavoidable damage per second, and with so many surrounding him, the damage added up. But with over 60,000 HP and his Nether Orb restoring over 3,000 HP per second—not to mention the 30% life steal from skills and bracelets—he had nothing to worry about.
The battle raged on, but no one noticed that a few of the first wave of ogres hadn't been completely wiped out. Some had hidden away and were secretly feasting on corpses. Since the Hellfire Twinfangs didn't have corpse-devouring skills, players hadn't bothered to waste mana burning the bodies, assuming they'd despawn after ten minutes anyway.
