Chapter 177 - Chapter 177 - The Dark Gold Army!

Day 3,700

Milestone Detected: 100 days Sign-In [37th]

Daily Reward Upgraded

Reward: Law Booster (Light) (x1)

[Accept Reward] / [Convert to System Points]

When Hengsheng sees what he got this time, his brow rises in surprise, not because this item is especially rare or good, but because he has already gotten it 3 consecutive times.

He thinks this is a sign.

According to the Sign-In System's design, the daily reward—especially the reward on milestone days—is likely to offer what he might need in the near future.

Even if this setting is not always active, 3 consecutive times is a clear sign.

This suggests that the Light Law might have some role to play soon.

"Accept," Hengshen murmured.

Ding!

[You have acquired: Law Booster (Light) (x1)

A moment later, a small transparent potion bottle with a "Light" label, containing a golden liquid, appeared before him.

Hengsheng grabbed and used it immediately. He opened the potion bottle with his thumb, and when he did, the entire potion bottle disintegrated into golden light particles, flowing into his body.

His entire body was glowing with a mysterious golden aura filled with traces of the Law Essence.

Hengsheng's eyes closed as he sensed his understanding of the Light Law being improved. An unknown source of Law insight flooded into his head.

This process only took 10 seconds before the golden aura faded. Hengsheng did not open his eyes immediately, as he examined the gains he had made.

Not long after that, he opened his eyes, having completed his examination. He found that his mastery over the Light Law had improved by roughly 1%. This might not sound like much, but 1% was already a huge gain. Because the higher the percentage, the harder it was to increase.

His current mastery over the Law of Light was 56%, as measured by Hunter's Ultimate Leveling System. It could be said that his mastery of Light Law is already at a late stage, almost reaching the limit of the Mortal-level Law Mastery of the System World.

If at 70%, he would step into the Divine-level Law Mastery; at 100%, he would wield the Light Law with the same mastery level as a Primordial God born in his System World.

After he was done with the daily Sign-In, he got up from his ultimate emperor-size bed and went to the training ground. He did his routine: 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometer run every day.

He hoped that one day he would wake up and find himself bald with unlimited power out of nowhere, instead of diligently cultivating for thousands of years, which was a living hell.

With his strong Hyperhuman body, it took less than 5 minutes for his basic training routine to be over.

With a wave of his hand, the spiritual qi surge enveloped his entire body, cleaning him of all filth and dirt, and with another wave of his hand, the minor function of the System Storage activated—the Instant Equip!

Instantly, he changed his training clothes to the usual elegant black-gold robes. An arrogant smirk appeared on his face. He was ready for the day.

Hengsheng goes back into the building and straight to Yunsu's room, which is located next to his bedroom. He opens the door without knocking, since he knows even if he did, she wouldn't answer because she can't.

Inside Yunsu's room is decorated in a luxurious style, similar to her God Queen's temple on the Felina Mar, the Cat Planet in the System World.

However, there is one thing that is out of place here: the archway, a square portal gate made of golden clouds and light, stood in the middle of the room.

This is the entrance to the Tenth Heaven that Yunsu had left open, allowing him to go inside without asking her every time.

Hengsheng steps forward, his hand touching the golden cloud, then his entire body sinks into the archway. The next moment, he disappears from the Seventh Heaven.

Hengsheng appears again inside the Tenth Heaven, and he sensed that the Heaven and Earth's Qi in this place is much more sparse compared to the outside world. It was understandable, since all the Qi in this world is concentrated in one location, which is Yunsu's abode.

Hengsheng rose into the sky and flew to the peak of the most towering mountain nearby. On the way, he observed the world from above, and he saw many wildlife in the mountain forest below.

The Tenth Heaven is not devoid of life; instead, it is very abundant because the life here is untouched by unnatural order. There are no intelligent lifeforms like humans, demons, or even demon beasts—only wild creatures that live through the natural cycle.

At first, Hengsheng was curious why there was not a single demon beast that had emerged in this place, as it was filled with Qi all throughout the surroundings.

He only learned later that, without Yunsu's permission, the wildlife here could not absorb the Qi into their bodies, not only them but the trees were the same.

Even though the Heaven and Earth Qi exists, it is inactive.

So, the first time Yunsu opened the Tenth Heaven, this place was no different from the normal world, without any supernatural element, like Earth.

Not long after he reached the peak of the mountain, this place was completely another world compared to below.

When he landed on the summit, he sensed the thick Heaven and Earth Qi in the surroundings—it was as thick as his cultivation ground in the Maker Mansion.

The mountain peak is a flat landform similar to the Endless Wealth Peak, and the entire place is filled with numerous natural treasures, though they are incomplete.

They are still growing and forming, and can't be consumed or used at the moment. These are all Divine Grade Treasures that his Origin Energy could not produce.

Hengsheng ignores them and walks to where Yunsu is staying. It only takes him a second before his eyes spot her.

She is lying on the ground, showing her belly comfortably under the big tree under the big tree, basking in the warmth of the sunlight.

Yunsu also senses Hengsheng's presence. In fact, she already knew he would come, since the Tenth Heaven had already informed her when her human stepped into this realm. She cracked one eye open to glance at him, then shut it again.

"Yunsu, it's time for you to meet the snowbird," Hengsheng said as he lifted her into his arms.

Hearing her human's words, Yunsu's ear twitched, and her tail began to move as she became excited.

"Meow!" Yunsu meowed, her big pupils staring at Hengsheng.

The tsunami of happiness surged through Hengsheng. Not wanting to disappoint the kitten, he moved.

The Pixiu Base in the military district on Endless Tide Island is bustling with people running around, working, and preparing for the grand project of the Endless Wealth Company.

This is the base of the Dark Gold Army, whose symbol is the Pixiu—a mystical creature with the head of a dragon, the body of a horse, and the feet of a qilin. It represents treasure and wealth.

This base is a military base of the Endless Wealth Company, but unlike other bases in the military district, which usually have more than a thousand cultivators stationed. The combat troops assigned to this Pixiu Base are relatively small compared to those of other bases.

Only 800 cultivators are assigned to stay in this base. They are not regular company employees or contractual workers, but individuals who signed a permanent contract and pledged loyalty to the company—to Hengsheng.

With the permanent contract, they received support up to almost the highest level, only inferior to the Lan and Wang clan members, which raised their strength by leaps and bounds—unlike they were before they joined this army.

Completely changing their destiny on the road of cultivation.

They are the ones who will go to the north with Hengsheng to reclaim the northern part of the continent from the evil force—the Blood Fiend Palace!

In one corner of the base, Hengsheng appeared on the ground holding Yunsu in his arms. At the moment they appeared here, Yunsu began sniffing his arm uncontrollably.

Hengsheng could not help but worry that she might not be able to control herself before the snowbird. Sensing her human's worry, Yunsu turned her small head to him and gestured with her paws that she was just a little excited—there was no problem.

"I hope you do!" Hengsheng said.

"Meow!" Yunsu replied with a confirming meow.

Hengsheng, with Yunsu in his arms, walks through the base and stops in front of one chamber. He releases a little of his aura to let the one inside know.

"Please come in," a female voice calls out as the door of the chamber opens.

Hengsheng looks at Yunsu, whose mouth is full of saliva. He warns her one more time before stepping inside.

Inside the chamber, there is a woman wearing black and golden robes like the other cultivators in the Dark Gold Army, which she is now part of.

She is Xia Zhenzue, the holder of the True Snow Phoenix bloodline.

"Greetings, Chairman," she says as she bows.

She has now fully integrated into the company after more than a decade of service.
