I replied to him before I zoned out as I thought to myself, 'If it wasn't because that savage hybrid creature was holding Anders captive, I could have used my powers of light to easily defeat it'.
Beta Damien remained quiet for a while. His gaze was elsewhere, as if he was lost in his thoughts, just like me. Suddenly, he turned to me and said, "After you defeated the hybrid creature and returned to your hotel room, did you by chance see a young lady and a young man in your hotel room?".
His question was sudden and weird.
'A young man and a young lady?'. I wondered. "No. I didn't see anyone like that in my hotel room. Did you see anyone like that in my hotel room?".
