Rasmus was being held by his mother, who was sitting in a chair on the balcony. They both stared at the peaceful night. The breeze was too cold for Rasmus's small and fragile body, but Aris held him tightly, giving him her body's warmth.
Rasmus still couldn't believe that he had relived the past, and how his mother could tell he came from the future. His mind couldn't comprehend what was going on and how it was possible. However, he believed that his awakening made him remember every detail of his past, or at least Rasmus's past.
"My child..." Aris carefully caressed Rasmus's forehead with her thumb. "Where should I start?" She muttered as she looked down at him.
Rasmus could only stare into her mother's eyes, realizing that there were a few details of her face that were similar to Aris's. They both had the same gaze, and their voices were almost identical, which was unnerving.
