Zephyr sat his table working alone in his study. It was almost one week since he had last seen Selene. It had been five days precisely and he had forcefully stayed away from any chance of coming in contact with her.
He knew that today he would have to see her and he hated that his mind seemed to remind him every moment.
His ravenous thoughts had been getting the better of him and he struggled to keep his mind off her deeply mesmerising glassy blue eyes. It was like her eyes were hunting him.
The soft knock on his door was a good distraction for him and a break in his deep thoughts.
He called for whoever to come in and pushed his documents aside gently. When he raised his head and saw that Blaize was the one, he narrowed his eyes.
Selene was not the only one he had been avoiding for days.
"Hel-Hello." Blaize greeted softly as Zephyr looked away. He murmed a low Hello back making sure not to look up at her.
