Chapter 32: Iroase Utsu: Part 1
Iroase: I'm starting to get nervous, can I really compete with everyone else?
The doors open and the round begins
Iroase: I'll just have to give it my all! Let's go, I'll show Kazuo that he made the right choice helping me!
Iroase runs out and starts looking for opponents. Until he stumbles open a lone girl.
Iroase: Here's my chance.
He rushes in trying to strike at the girl, but the girl dodges him.
Iroase: I missed? (turns around to face the girl) Wait a minute, aren't you in my class?
??? : Oh it's just you, Iroase.
Iroase: And who are you now?
???: Don't even remember your own classmate, how mean. I'm Jynn.
Iroase: Oh I remember you now, anyway let's fight now!
Jynn: No thanks, you can just have my bell.
Iroase: What?
Jynn: I'm not the fighting type, so you can just have it.
Iroase: Oh come on! I was ready to fight.
Jynn: I wouldn't be much of a fight anyway.
Iroase: I can't accept this, Kazuo and the others will be disappointed.
Jynn: (sighs) Wait I got an idea that will help the both of us. Do you want to hear it?
Iroase: What is it?
Jynn: We work as a team, I'll be the healer and you be the attacker. How does it sound?
Iroase: How do I know that you won't just betray me?
Jynn: I wouldn't risk being eliminated, it's not worth the trouble.
Iroase: Okay, I'll trust you.
Jynn: Great, you're smart for the way you look.
Iroase: Whatever, let's get moving.
The two start running together, looking for opponents.
Jynn: Iroase, there's 1 to the right of us.
Iroase: Got it!
Iroase charges in towards the enemy.
Student: Shoot! Lightning Magic...
Jynn: Flame Magic: Burning Eagle. Iroase duck!
Iroase ducks and the spell hits the students before he can launch his spell. Iroase uses the opportunity and knocks out the opponent.
Iroase: Thanks for the assist.
Jynn: My pleasure.
Iroase: That's one bell down, we'll need a few more to get a spot in the next part of the test.
Jynn: Then let's get moving.
The two go to look for more bells and after a while, they secure 2 more bells.
Jynn: That makes 3 in total.
Instructor: 20 students are remaining.
Iroase: Only 20 left, let's get one more bell at least.
Jynn: Fine by me.
