Audrey found Caleb in the rooftop garden, a glass of whiskey in his hand.
"Tell me about my parents," she said quietly.
Caleb stiffened.
"They're... alive," he said.
She blinked. "What?"
"In comas. Kept in a private facility under 24/7 surveillance. After the attack."
Audrey sat down slowly. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I was protecting you. From false hope."
"But they're alive," she whispered.
Caleb nodded once. "And they'll wake up one day. But until then... your uncle still walks free."
A fire lit in her eyes.
And Caleb knew she was ready for more than the truth.
She was ready for revenge
Chapter Thirty-Four: Enemy in the Shadows
In a smoky underground bunker, a man known only as Viktor stood before Mia's father.
"She's remembering. And Caleb is pulling strings behind the curtain," her father said.
Viktor smiled. "Let him."
"What do you mean?"
Viktor turned to a darkened hallway, where footsteps echoed.
"I've been training someone. Someone who hates Audrey Bell more than you ever could."
From the shadows emerged a figure, tall and poised.
Her face was familiar.
Too familiar.
Bianca.
But her eyes were colder than winter.
And she didn't blink when Viktor said, "Your sister must die."
