"What is it father?" Ian asked, he poured himself a glass of water. The entire room was clear of any other people and yet his father just remained standing there like a statue.
"I wish to speak to you." Phillip said, he thought he was ready to address his son, but as soon as he stood before him, he found his bravado diminishing. He was never one to be scared to speak to his son, but this time it was different and the circumstances were not flattering at all.
"You have already mentioned that more than twice father, what is it?" Ian asked with a frown. "I have no time to waste, the priest has already been bothering me to arrive and complete the wedding rites." Ian sounded like he was whining.
"I know my son, I know...ah." Phillip said, he decided that maybe sitting down would aid in making him more comfortable.
"If this is about Iker sitting beside me during the ceremony, that is out of the question." Ian said.
"No, no my son, this is not about Iker." Phillip was quick to say.
