Days had passed since Zethan and Lilia returned home. Zethan had resumed going out for work, and usually, Lilia accompanied him. But today, for some unknown reason, she didn't feel like going.
"Are you sure nothing's wrong?" Zethan asked with concern. He wasn't sure what to think, especially since she had complained earlier about a stomach ache.
"I ate in the middle of the night," she said, chewing as she pushed some corn into her mouth. "I think that's why I'm feeling so tired."
Zethan nodded, dressed in a plain white shirt and fitted black pants. Lilia, on the other hand, wore a baggy shirt and pajama pants—her go-to comfy outfit lately.
"I guess I won't be having an unforgettable break with you," Zethan teased.
Lilia's face flushed, knowing exactly what he meant.
"Oh please, Zethan. Stop exaggerating," she said, rolling her eyes. "You've been working just fine without me."
