Logan lifted his eyelids lazily, voice cold. "I doubt someone like Mr. Green from the auction could confuse something that basic."
Luke suddenly got it. "Right! Green's a slick guy. Even if Jack didn't finish his call, how could he just assume that woman was you? Riley, did you maybe say something to him that made him misunderstand?"
Riley bit her lip so hard it almost bled. She felt like Logan had seen straight through her.

She put on an expression of sudden realization. "I think I get it now. Mr. Green did say someone had asked him to look after me at the auction. And then my brother called, so I thought he meant Hunter…"
