A few days have passed, and Nova and the rest of the crew have been harder at work training and improving their abilities. Shiki refused to train with the others, though she was training on and wasn't speaking to the others for a while, until she came out to everyone and said, "Thank you, guys, for helping me improve and understand my fragment, but I must leave; I have some matters to attend to." Everyone said their goodbyes to Shiki before she gathered her things and left Jade's temple. Nicole and Nova were training nonstop for multiple days. So Jade and Kaya took Nova, Nicole, Kamiya and Kairi out to an underground bar in Tokyo city. While everyone was ordering drinks, Kamiya asked, "Does anyone know where Testarossa went?" Jade replied swiftly and said, "She's looking into things; she will come back when she's ready." While sitting at the bar, Nova ordered a drink called a "blueberry moon". Before she took a sip, she grabbed it and said, "It's beautiful; the colour reminds me of the moon in the night sky." Everyone smiled, as they knew Nova had gone back to her old self until. Nicole noticed some black veins on Nova's neck; she gently touched them and said, "What are these veins?" Kairi looked at everyone while drinking and said, "Oh, I noticed them while cleaning Nova's scars…" She slightly laughed and stuck her tongue out. Everyone looked at Nova as she slightly blushed and said, "They started appearing when Seilah took over my body. I think they're part of the brain tumour, but I don't know." Everyone looked slightly concerned, and Jade said, "Let's finish our drinks, then we can look into it." A few hours passed, and Jade booked a hotel room for them to stay at. While Nova was getting into bed, Kairi sneaked into her room and jumped into bed with her. Kairi wrapped her arms around Nova's body and said, "Don't think you can escape me that easily." She giggles, and Nova says to herself, "I forgot Kairi is completely crazy." Shortly after everyone falls asleep. Kamiya says to everyone, "It's time for me to take up my duties as keeper of the archives. When you guys need me, just come to archives anytime…" Kamiya opened up a portal and went through it to the archives. On the way back to the temple, Jade and Nicole Noticing a massive smoke cloud in the distance, Jade said, "Hurry up, everyone; let's see what's happening." Everyone ran up the stairs, and it was Jade's temple that was set ablaze, and in front of the fire was a woman with brown hair with tendrils coming out of her back. She spoke in a soft voice and said, "Abyssal Power lurks here. I will destroy anything connected to the abyss. I swear upon myself, Natasha Valentine, I will destroy everything that thing has created."
