Astraea's POV
I carried Zephyra in my arms, careful not to jostle her too much as I made my way to my bedroom. The guest room was a complete wreck thanks to my fight with Valkyrie, and there was no way I was letting Zephyra stay in that mess.
She didn't say anything as I laid her gently on my bed, but I could see the confusion and worry in her eyes.
"You want anything?" I asked her softly. "If you're hungry, I can call the servants. They'll bring you whatever you want."
Zephyra shook her head and gave a small sigh. "I'm not hungry."
She paused for a second before continuing. "I'd rather you just explain what's going on with me. Please."
I let out a deep breath and pulled a chair closer to the bed before sitting down. "Alright. Let's start from the beginning then. The night you summoned me... That night was the beginning of all this."
Her brow furrowed. "You mean that night in my house? When I thought I was just... imagining things?"
