Somewhere on an unknown island
Mewtwo and a bunch of gods sat in a row, staring at the screen together in deep thought.
On the screen was the scene of Lurantis easily removing the head of the lumberyard owner. Simple, direct and bloody.
It was very impactful, to say the least.
Lugia gathered her wings and watched the scene while lying on her back on the ground, and for a moment opened her mouth in some amazement and asked, "So the conflict between the Pokémon and humans is already this serious!?"
Seriously, as the gods of the Pokémon, it was a bit hard to say that they didn't know about these situations.
But they had been asleep for so long after all. One must realize that in the era before they had fallen asleep, the so-called humans were still nothing more than a race that clung to their wings and struggled to survive in the world of Pokémon.
During this long period of time, some of them slept, and some of them did not ask about the world. For them, although they are Pokémon, they are even more gods.
Maintaining world peace is also a kind of respect for the world if they silently watch the development of the world from the sidelines.
So they didn't try to stop humans from getting higher and higher in status during this long period of time. Gradually, they became the dominant world.
When a so-called dominant power appeared in a world. The dominant power would oppress the other powers for its own special status and interests.
When the scope of this power expands to the level of human beings.
The so-called Pokémon became the object of oppression.
Even if there were still a large number of Pokémon that humans could not oppress. It was only a matter of time.
The gods didn't understand the deepening conflict...
That was why they were so surprised today when they saw that the relationship between humans and Pokémon was actually so tense.
Having said that, Lugia was naturally not the only one who was surprised by the scene before her. Ho-oh, Mew were all the same.
Not all the gods present were there.
Like the two XY gods, they had returned to their forests to fall into a semi-sleep after the initial meeting.
Most of the other gods had also left the area.
Mewtwo wasn't surprised at all when he looked at the scene in front of him. Seriously, before he met Rope and Red, he was in a much more wrong state than the current Lurantis.
It really was the kind that could become a bomb at any time, blowing up everything in front of him.
"It's not shocking... actually, the relationship between overall humans and overall Pokémon isn't that bad, and it can even be said to be steadily getting better."
Mewtwo opened his mouth to explain, "But after all, these two in front of us are enemies...and can't be treated with common sense."
Just then, the scene had shifted to Lurantis and the teenager meeting again.
"You see, that's just it. More often than not their relationship can still be described as pretty good."
The corner of Mew's mouth twitched as she looked at Lurantis, with blood dripping from her arm blades, and the teenager, whose face was a little pale.
"So that's your definition of a relationship and good? No wonder Rope wasn't sure about you and asked me to keep an eye on you."
Mew doesn't hide the reason he's here either.
Rope knows that this Mewtwo guy is reformed. But this Mewtwo guy still has major problems of her own. For example, her personality issues...aggressive, violent, and even though she had tightened up a lot after the trip, there was simply no way to change the fact that this guy was a violent maniac.
"Rope didn't just ask you to come over here because he was afraid I'd do something too aggressive."
The nice female voice was full of helplessness.
"Plus, comparing radicalization to Rope...do I really deserve it?"
As soon as these words were said, even Mew, Rope's good companion, couldn't say half a word.
"Let's not watch the fun here. Let's go check out the situation over there first."
Ho-Oh finally spoke up, "Where the situation is the point, once it plays off it won't be a simple cleanup...the war between humans and Pokémon will really be overwhelming. Especially...with that Pokémon being considered a god in the strictest sense of the word."
Mewtwo nodded as well, so he pressed the remote control in his hand, and a tall building appeared on the TV.
The building had a purplish, ominous energy lingering around it.
Seeing what was in front of him, the corners of Mewtwo's mouth twitched slightly.
"That Rose guy's movements are also really fast enough. If I remember correctly Rope has only given out the literature where the awakening method is located for two or three days, right? He didn't even confirm it and just started awakening straight away?"
Mewtwo was also thinking that Rose really was super brave. It really was just ignorance without fear. He really didn't know what the One he was about to awaken really was.
That was an alien god, ah, or the top god amongst a civilization. The energy participation that overflowed when it was sealed alone had already allowed the Galar region to prosper for thousands of years. Now for the sake of the next thousand years, he decided to lift the seal and take it in so that he could have unlimited energy to use!
Needless to say, this was a very good idea. If it did work, then Galar could indeed prosper until who knows when.
But the biggest problem is... among the existing human trainers, there should be no Pokémon that can face Eternatus straight on...
Rope can't be counted as such, and Rope can't even win against the Dynamax Eternatus if he just commands his own Pokémon...
The question is that the high four-digit racial values are beyond the range of the average person's imagination.
It's not that an alien monk can read scripture. But whether it was the Blinding One, Necrozma, or the Darkest Day, Eternatus in front of him, both were absolute powerhouses in their own worlds in their own right in their own right.
Now that they had come to such a world, after being accepted by the world's will, naturally their strength had received little weakening.
They were strong, but there was always someone who could deal with them.
For example, Zacian and Zamazenta who were guarding him.
Zacian and Zamazenta, in the form of the King of Swords and Shields, had a steel system that was immune to poison damage, and Zacian even had an attribute such as the goblin system that could restrain the poison dragon attribute of Eternatus.
What's more, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash are both powerful Pokémon skills. It could even be said to be ridiculously powerful.
But even so, Zacian and Zamazenta still had a certain risk of flipping. That's why Rope and the others absolutely couldn't afford to be careless now.
If something unexpected happened, the four gods here would immediately run over to support them. Rope did things, a program that wouldn't be prepared with just one hand.
But this plan is still beyond crazy. To awaken an ancient god to teach mankind a profound lesson. When Rope said this, Mewtwo found it hard to believe that the Rope in front of him was still a human being.
How could anyone pit their own kind like that.
"What kind of tawdry trick did you use in Galar, why do I always have a feeling of uneasiness?"
Lance looked at Rope in front of him with deep suspicion in his eyes.
It was important to realize that the situation in the Galar region was different from the rest of the world. Even if you were to cooperate with League any more, you couldn't expect Galar League to destroy Galar League's own interests, could you?
After all, the so-called Galar League is Macro Cosmos, and the so-called Macro Cosmos is Galar League.
The ones that have damaged the interests of Pokémon in some way are Macro Cosmos, which is Galar League...
If we really deal with it, wouldn't it be an iron pot of its own?
Of course Lance knew how difficult it was to deal with this kind of thing, but he also believed that this Rope guy definitely had a way to deal with this kind of thing. He just didn't know...whether this method would make a big noise.
However, according to Rope's past routine, the commotion couldn't be said to be big, but only that it was often outrageously big.
That's why Lance was curious to know how Rope planned to teach President Rose a lesson.
Rope touched his nose and said: ''Don't always think of me as so bad. I am essentially a good person. Although this time's matter will cause a lot of commotion, I have prepared for it and nothing will go wrong."
When Lance heard Rope's assurance, he felt a little relieved. After all, even Rope, this guy, wouldn't joke around with this kind of thing. Thinking that there must not be any major problems.
But just when he hadn't even had ten seconds to relax his expression, his phone rang.
Lance made an apologetic face towards Rope and picked up the phone.
"Lance here, what can I do for you?"
As soon as Lance picked up the phone instantly he was frowning feeling a little bad.
Because the person on the other end of the line...was breathing heavily. It was a sign of fear...
"Champion... Lance, this... is... the observer at Galar..."
At the first sound of the word Galar, Lance's heart instantly stuttered.
"Here... a... powerful Pokémon has suddenly appeared... we haven't seen this Pokémon before... but... he's too powerful."
Lance glared at Rope. Holding back his anger he calmed the observer, telling him that he could observe a bit more if he could hold out a bit longer. If it didn't work out then he could retreat immediately.
The observer over there was obviously amazed and was ready to leave almost without hesitation.
Lance certainly wouldn't miss a beat, it wasn't Lance's style to risk a person's life involuntarily for a bit of information. At least not the current Lance's style.
But the moment he hung up the phone, Lance grabbed Rope by the neck and said viciously, "Rope...you asshole, what the hell have you tossed out???"
Rope didn't resist, and just Elemental transforming allowing Lance to grab an empty hand. Then rather helplessly, he said, "Calm down, I told you, I do have a way to get this over with."
Lance was still having a hard time calming down. Although the people in the Galar region were not amongst his jurisdiction, human life was human life, and should be infinitely treasured no matter where it was.
Endless faraway places, endless people, it's all about me.
Rope consciously didn't have the same realization that Lance had. So he made such a decision.
"Don't worry. I'm sure I'll be able to solve it."
Looking at Rope's determined eyes, Lance then slowly breathed a sigh of relief and suppressed the anger in his heart.
"What was that?"
Lance opened his mouth and asked. His face still carried the dissatisfaction of Rope. Rope had gone too far this time by keeping such a big thing from them.
Of course, Rope had expected such a reaction. After all, if the plan was told to them in advance, even Rope was not 100% sure that he could convince them to listen to his arrangement.
After all, this was gambling with the lives of Galar's people.
Lance and the others would rather have Rope gamble with their own lives, and would rather Rope have them personally overthrow Macro Cosmos than have such a thing happen.
"Galar the ancient legend of the Dark Night, and its powerful Pokémon, Eternatus. strong, so strong that there is no way for either you, or Red, or Leon to defeat him with a human or a normal Pokémon..."
Lance remained quite rational in such an urgent moment.
"So, you have a way to cope."
After all, Rope hadn't mentioned himself in what Love had just said. So Lance was naturally able to guess that Rope was able to cope with this so-called Ancient Great God.
Rope nodded and gave a definite answer.
In fact, it wasn't even necessary for Rope to step in herself. Even letting Mewtwo bring Sword Dog and Shield Dog was enough to deal with Eternatus.
After Rope had subdued Mewtwo, his own strength was stronger than Mewtwo's by a thread. But Mewtwo himself, mega-evolved, plus Rope's flame enhancement, this kind of strength is already enough to drink a pot of water for Eternatus who just woke up.
Plus the King of Swords and the King of Shields, which were innately restrained against him, so Eternatus couldn't make any waves at all.
The reason why the other three gods were also present was to control the damage caused by Eternatus...
Rope wasn't a bad person, so naturally, he wouldn't let the entire Galar region fall into a crisis just for this small matter. This was likewise inconsistent with Rope's principles.
What's more, there was Rope himself as the last card of protection.
Moreover, Rope also had his own little idea yet.
He rubbed the purple Pokéball in his pants pocket and remained silent for a long time.
Just at this time, Rotom behind Rope sent out a phone alert.
Rope let out a bitter laugh, then picked up the phone.
"Hey, Leon."
"Don't worry too much, and don't think about putting up a fight, I'm all set."
"Don't worry, I can always show up in the Galar area and take care of these things for you."
After saying that, Rope also hung up the phone, obviously, Leon didn't have any intention to talk to Rope more, he was also in a very headache state right now.
Leon looked at the purplish-red cloud in front of him, and froze on the side of President Rose.
The Pokémon in front of me is a giant dragon-shaped Pokémon. It is made of a red glowing substance and a dark purple substance that looks like an exoskeleton or armor attached to it, and looks like a dragon's skeleton. Its head is triangular, a translucent red film with five long thorns extending backwards; there is a pair of eye-like spots composed of three white circles on the front, and a slender toothed jaw made of dark purple substance. Its body and tail are thin and long, with dark purple substance in the shape of vertebrae and spikes attached to it, and the overall shape is like a spine. Its limbs and claws are made of dark purple substance, which are slender and sharp.
In his current form alone, Leon hadn't felt the kind of threat that Rope had claimed would make it difficult for him to cope.
So...
"Now is the time, the time of champions!"
"Let's go Charizard, even if we can't Dynamax, we can still defeat the enemy in front of us!"
Leon pressed his hat, and the bottom of his eyes were filled with fervent battle intent.
He himself knew very well that even if he took out this form of Eternatus in front of him. It would only usher in another form of a more powerful Eternatus.
But no matter what, as a champion, he absolutely could not back down at a time like this without doing anything.
This was definitely not the style of a champion.
Thus, with a roar filled with battle intent, Leon's Charizard charged in the direction of Eternatus.
On the other hand, the four gods who were watching the scene in front of them on the TV screen were unanimously plunged into silence.
Seriously, the strength of Eternatus, who had just been liberated from the seal in front of them, was nowhere near as strong as he was in his heyday, but he was recovering his strength at an unimaginable speed.
Even they wouldn't dare to easily go against the current Eternatus.
But that human just answered the battle head on...
"Perhaps there is a reason why humans were able to achieve their current position in this world."
It wasn't just any one of the gods that sighed softly and tersely.
