Poipole dropped down from a high altitude with great vigor, glancing at Shori across from him with a look of contempt.
After all, Poipole wasn't an ordinary Pokémon, he was an Ultra Beast, an existence that was basically equal to a Legendary Pokémon in terms of bitness, or slightly weaker.
After all, Rope is now not sure whether the power wielded by the Ultra Beast is actually powerful, or whether it is good for a world that is also YY City's foreign monk.
Poipole burning flame flew back to Rope's side.Rope also finally raised his head, touched Poipole's head and said: "How? You can't do it anymore? Planning to change?"
Rope said this gently, but Poipole just felt that she heard a sense of mockery from this tone.
Poipole was unhappy, no...I may have a high energy level, but that doesn't mean that my talent limit can be broken, right?
Poipole's form is definitely limited. Try letting me evolve into Naganadel! I'm definitely pushing this guy's six Pokémon across the board!
All of Poipole's emotions melted into a cold grunt before Poipole turned his back and ignored Rope.
He had very little energy left in his body. The guy in front of him was much harder to deal with than he thought. Even with Rope's help, he felt like he could only handle two Pokémon at the most, and the rest... would have to rely on his other partners.
"Poi! (Pokémon have limits!)"
Poipole muttered with laughter.
The smile on Rope's face grew even wider; of course he knew that Pokémon had limits. Not to mention that Poipole's energy level hadn't reached that of Entei's, and at most, he was a tiny bit stronger than Arcanine and Charizard. But even if he did reach Entei's level, let's just say, it wouldn't be much use.
Rope hadn't given him Eviolite, which meant that the part of his potential that he hadn't been able to develop through evolution was now being wasted.
And with Poipole's current strength and experience, he's still far from being a one through six. As for Chimchar...it was different...Chimchar's battle experience was not just a matter of accumulation. One could only say that Chimchar's old mom and dad had carved their fighting skills into their dna.
Rope couldn't say why, he could only say that the world was a big place.
"Alright, get on with the match, show me your limits."
Rope smiled and said to Poipole in the arena. He actually didn't care that Poipole was able to fight a few times a dozen. He couldn't beat Rope himself anyway, no matter how many times he fought.
But being able to make Poipole obediently recognize his status as a trainer, that was the real purpose.
Shori took Nidoking back into the ball and pinned it back to his belt. Then he took a deep breath, removed yet another Pokéball from his belt, and threw it.
"Come out Espeon!"
"Mew~~~"
What appeared with it was a cat-like Pokémon that was pink in color.
This is also known as the Supernatural line in the Eevee family.
What's even more interesting is that Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon were all suggested as evolutionary possibilities five years ago. And the corresponding evolutionary conditions were published four years ago.
But the person who researched the five Eevee evolutionary forms did not reveal his name. Even now, he didn't choose to make his name public.
Of course, there was no shortage of benefits or anything given by the Alliance.
I can not want fame because, that thing is useless to me and I will have it sooner or later. But money and resources are different...more is better. This person is naturally Rope. he also just did a small thing that all travelers do. And by doing so, he gained his first pot of money.
"Poi..."
Poipole sighed helplessly. No...why did this guy have so many Super Power Tethered Pokémon in his hands?
Let's just say that the Ultra Tether does work, and Rope would take the time to find a Ultra Tether Pokémon if he could.
Gothitelle and Gardevoir are both good and have a knack for taking care of people. Also need to get a Flaming Horse of Galore for Bai Ci. As her birthday present.
"All right! Cheer up! Don't let your opponent underestimate you!"
Rope finally got up and then said, "Given that you have less than 20% of the energy remaining in your body, so even if I help you, it won't be very useful. Let your opponent at least realize that you're not to be messed with."
Poipole wasn't speaking, but instead stared intently at whichever Espeon was across from him as the purplish-red energy in his body began to coalesce.
Drop by drop, the venom fell low, and it seemed like he wasn't planning to fight the way he originally fought either.
Rope also scratched his head. He felt that the fighting styles of the Pokémon under his command were getting weirder and weirder.Chimchar, especially these three later on, had a style that was out of place in the world of Pokémon, to say the least.
Within the time that Rope had been rambling on, Poipole had already completed his first stage of skills.
Behind him a pile of venom burning with purple fire gathered into a ball, then began to twist and contort. Looking closely, what his venom turned into was none other than Poipole's evolved form, Naganadel.
And right after Naganadel took shape, it was clearly just venom condensing into form, but it gave off a sense of living oppression. It was as if this was a real Pokémon.
Poipole also flew behind Naganadel and lay on top of Naganadel's head gasping for air.
Espeon on the opposite side of the room was a little bit lost by this move... this skill... never seen it before...
Rope looked on in wonder as well. He used to think about who would utilize the skill he had researched of revitalizing flames and energy to perfection, but he didn't think that the Poipole in front of him would really surprise him.
This burning, venomous Naganadel looked like a real, true Naganadel. But it couldn't use skills.
But it was a skill in itself!
Seeing that both Espeon and the trainer on the opposite side froze, Poipole immediately ordered the Naganadel to attack towards the other side.
The Naganadel's behavior was modeled after the Naganadel Poipole remembered taking care of him, his father, I guess.
The Naganadel sprayed a burning column of venom from a pinhole in its abdomen. The venom lashed out towards Espeon.
"Avoid it!"
Shori was still a qualified, if not above level trainer, so he gave the order calmly after a momentary lapse of concentration. And Espeon, who had been alerting the opposite side of the room, also jumped sideways very quickly after hearing his trainer's order. Then he watched as Naganadel's venomous blast hit the ground, and then the ground was flooded with a trail of white smoke.
The toxicity of this poison was really fierce and outrageous. If you took a shot of it you probably wouldn't need to fight the rest of the sparring match.
"Espeon! Confusion!"
Hearing his trainer's fame and fortune, Espeon's purple eyes lit up with a light pink glow. What was unleashed with it was naturally Confusion, which could be vaguely seen.
Confusion blasted Naganadel's lower abdomen. And immediately after that part of the venom was dispersed.
Shori and Espeon's faces showed joy. But before they could be happy, the sight in front of them once again caused his face to return to a stony expression.
Only to see the venom scattered on the ground quickly coalesce again after being dispersed, and in almost an instant, Naganadel's body was repaired as good as new.
Then it once again launched an attack towards Espeon.
"Quickly avoid it!!!"

"Oops! It's obvious! Our Shori player looks so confused when faced with these novel skills from Rope player!"
Host Yoshiki hung his head in shame, his tone quite hateful.
Professor Oak, on the other hand, gently shook his head and said, "Contestant Shori is still mesmerized by the novelty of the moves. In fact, this is a fairly common technique of energy manipulation. To deal with such a skill one should seriously deal with the body that is manipulating the energy, rather than fighting with an energy body that can be replenished at any time."
What Professor Oak said about the method of dealing with it was naturally correct. But that 'kinda normal energy manipulation skill' in the previous sentence was real bullshit...
Rope had gone through a lot of trouble to research something, and it was just labeled as 'ordinary' by Professor Oak... if he knew that, he would have to... thank Professor Oak...
Nonsense, the less people knew about this technique of energy activation, the better, after all, so that he could keep a bottom card for himself. After all, if this trick was used in a covert manner, it was really possible to ruthlessly pit others against each other, or even turn defeat into victory.
Of course, although Professor Oak helped to cover it up, in reality, there were still quite a few people who could tell that the skill in front of them was not so different from the Energy Shaping they would normally use either for the sake of splendor or for the sake of power and efficiency.
Wallace looked at Naganadel's performance on the screen, and although he didn't recognize the Pokémon, he shook his head bashfully and continued, "Too animated..."
Steven gave him a look. Although Wallace was still the owner of the Rurouni Dojo, everyone basically realized the problem when Steven brought him all into the champion's box.
It seemed that the gossip about the Plenty of Edge area the other day was not just empty talk.
It looks like the famous Master Coordinator is about to take over the title of the Plenty of Edge Region, and the current champion, Steven, is finally going to inherit his family business.
Hmm, they both had bright futures ahead of them.
"You don't think this is simple energy molding."
Steven asked in a low voice.
"How could it be." Wallace whispered the same, "I should be the most familiar with Energy Shaping out of everyone here. But Energy Shaping tests the ability to manipulate energy in a meticulous manner. Logically speaking, as long as the finer the control ability, the more flexible the energy molded thing will be."
"But there's still the problem of manipulation habits, generally speaking, no matter what a Pokémon is shaped into, their offensive habits won't change much. But this one in front of me...it's like it's changed into a Pokémon...there's definitely something wrong with it."
Wallace's eyes burned as he stared intently at Rope at the bottom.
This was a trick he really wanted to learn.
---------- --
Espeon was indeed flexible, and the Naganadel congealed by the venom wasn't a real Naganadel after all, and there was no way to use any other skills, so it simply chose the close combat directly.
What Naganadel was good at was speed and special attacks, and with his speed, even Espeon's instantaneous movement wouldn't be of much use in the not-so-expansive area of the battlefield...
And so, on the battlefield, there was an odd scene of two Special Attack oriented Pokémon playing melee combat.
Naganadel's tail word was constantly stabbing towards Espeon, and it felt like this fighting style was closer to that of a giant stinging bee. But the venom that coldly sprayed towards Espeon from time to time still made Espeon break out in a cold sweat.
The guy in front of him was really hard to deal with.
Rope, on the other hand, silently shook his head. He could see that Poipole was always still too young. The techniques he used were not bad, but he was really too far behind in terms of combat experience.
"Blow it up!"
Rope didn't hold back from giving Poipole, who was hiding in Naganadel's venomous body, a hint after all.
Poipole also instantly realized the way to break the situation after Rope's reminder.
But...it was the condensation of all his energy!!!! After it exploded he couldn't fight in the industry...
Poipole felt that he was really too wasted...clearly the strength of this little guy in front of him was just that. But for some reason, he just couldn't manage to clean it up he even got hit by Confusion once.
But this hesitation was only for a moment.
Because the Espeon sub in front of him, after hearing Rope's command, immediately prepared to retreat to avoid the front line.
But how could Poipole let him go at this time! Moreover, he had just recognized Rope, so he naturally wouldn't reject Rope's command at this time.
So Poipole stayed where he was, but the venomous Naganadel surged forward.
Espeon looked at the Naganadel that was rushing towards him, and his good-looking purple eyes showed a panic that was hard to hide, and he quickly activated Confusion, thinking that he would break up this mass of venom completely. But it was all in vain.
He vaguely seemed to hear Naganadel's laughter. Then what greeted him was a violent explosion of venom.
As a cloud of purple fire burst into flames, Espeon, who was almost dyed purple, was blown out and lay groaning on the ground.
"Espeon is incapacitated! Poipole wins! Please Shori player send the next Pokémon!!!"
The referee's words were fast, and really, he was more worried if this would delay Espeon's treatment.
And naturally, Shori was quick to put Espeon back. A Joey quickly greeted him and took the Pokéball.
"I'll take good care of him. Please don't worry."
With that, he retreated to out of the waiting area.
Rope, on the other hand, looked at Poipole, who looked so exhausted that he couldn't even maintain flame mode, shook his head then said, "Come back and rest."
"Poi!"
Poipole called out breathlessly before flying to Rope's waist, then poked his Pokéball and returned to it.
The battle continues.
