[In the northern part of the state, Happy stood outside the newly renovated Avengers headquarters, looking up in admiration. "Pretty impressive, huh?" he said to Spider-Man. "They just redid the entire building!"]
[The camera zoomed out, revealing the massive facility, as a sleek fighter jet prepared for takeoff in the distance.]
[Inside an elevator, Spider-Man sat beside Happy, staring at the jet as it soared into the sky, his mind lost in thought. Happy tilted his head and smirked. "Not something you see every day, huh?"]
[At that moment, Tony Stark approached, hands casually tucked into his pockets. "Oh! There you are! How was the trip?"]
["Very good!" Happy nodded.]
[Tony shot Happy a glance. "Give us a minute, will you?"]
[Happy blinked. "Seriously?"]
["Yeah," Tony insisted. "I need to talk to the kid."]
[Happy hesitated, then sighed. "Fine. But I'm staying close!"]
["How about you keep your distance? Ever heard of 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'?" Tony teased before turning to Spider-Man, giving him a playful punch on the arm.]
[Patting his shoulder, Tony continued, "Look, I'm sorry I took your suit. But hey, you kinda asked for it. Turns out that was exactly the tough love you needed, right?"]
["It gave you motivation to do better, didn't it? Right?" He draped an arm around Spider-Man and guided him forward.]
["I think—" Peter started, but Tony cut him off.]
["Exactly!" Tony nodded. Then, letting out a small sigh, he added, "You made a mess before. A big one. But you turned it around. You took those strays to the free clinic and raised them like good little pups—okay, bad analogy."]
[Tony pointed at him, "I misjudged you. But with the right guidance, I think you'd be really valuable to the team."]
[He patted Peter back again. That's when the realization hit.]
["Team…?" Spider-Man asked hesitantly. "Team?"]
["That's right! Anyway, there are about fifty reporters behind that door. Real reporters, not bloggers!" Tony tapped his watch.]
[As the wall in front of them slid open, a brand-new Iron Spider Armor slowly rose from the platform.]
["When you're ready, suit up!" Tony grinned. "Then I'll introduce the world to the newest official member of the Avengers: Spider-Man!"]
[Spider-Man's eyes widened at the sight of the high-tech armor. He was speechless. "I… heh…" He stammered, overwhelmed with excitement, unable to find the right words.]
"Cool! This isn't just a suit—this is full-on battle armor!" Second-Gen Spider-Man stared at the Iron Spider armor in pure envy.
"Yeah! I want one too…" Gwen muttered. The sheer level of tech packed into Spider-Man's gear was impressive, and this was an upgrade beyond anything they had seen.
"We need to step up our game," Second-Gen Spider-Man sighed. He had already been studying multiple fields at once, consulting top experts to improve his own tech. Now, seeing this, he was more determined than ever to build a battle suit of his own.
Tony Stark, watching the broadcast, immediately asked J.A.R.V.I.S. to log every detail of the Iron Spider armor. He wasn't sure of its full capabilities yet, but it was definitely something worth analyzing.
First-Gen Spider-Man also felt a tinge of envy. He had never had someone like Tony backing him. Sure, his best friend Harry Osborn had supported him, but Harry wasn't a scientist. Maybe it was time to team up with Dr. Otto and Dr. Connors to develop something new, with Harry funding the project.
["Yeah! Take a good look," Tony said with a confident smile. He was certain Spider-Man would accept the offer.]
[Turning to Happy, Tony continued, "After the press conference, Happy will take you to check out your dorm room! He's staying next to Vision, right?"]
[Happy nodded. "Yeah. Vision's not a fan of doors or walls, though."]
["Oh, great, you two will get along just fine!" Tony joked.]
[But Spider-Man's expression changed as he listened. He realized that being an Avenger meant leaving home—leaving Aunt May, Ned, and everything familiar behind.]
[After a long pause, he finally spoke. "Thank you, Mr. Stark, but I… I think I should pass."]
[Tony's brows furrowed. "Pass? What do you mean, pass?"]
["I mean… I think I should stay grounded. Be the friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man. Someone needs to look out for the little guy, right?" Spider-Man smiled, but there was conviction in his voice.]
[Tony removed his sunglasses and studied him. "You're rejecting me? Think carefully. Look at that suit. Look at me. I'm asking you one last time. Yes or no?"]
[Spider-Man didn't hesitate. "No."]
[Tony exhaled, shaking his head. "You really have that whole 'working-class hero' thing going for you, huh? Well… I respect it. Happy will take you home. Sound good?"]
[Spider-Man nodded. "Yeah. Thanks, Mr. Stark."]
[Tony had expected him to say yes. He glanced at Happy, silently hoping he would refuse to drive the kid home. But to his surprise, Happy immediately said, "No problem! Just wait in the car, I'll be right there."]
["Thanks again, Mr. Stark," Spider-Man said, shaking his hand.]
["You're welcome, Mr. Parker. You're welcome."]
[As Spider-Man turned to leave, he hesitated and suddenly spun back around. "That was a test, wasn't it? There aren't actually any reporters behind that door, right?"]
[Tony clasped his hands behind his back and smirked. "Yeah. You passed. Now go on, get outta here, you little rascal."]
[As Spider-Man ran off, Tony turned back toward Happy, watching the kid disappear with a complicated expression.]
["Told you he was a good kid," Happy said with a knowing smile.]
[Tony didn't say anything. He simply spread his hands and gave a small clap. At that moment, he truly liked Peter. In fact, he had started thinking… maybe one day, Peter Parker could be his successor.]
