Chapter 40 - Chapter 40 : Master Aaron

"Noisy! If you don't want to do it, just leave! I'll give you all an E." Master Aaron said coldly.

Master Aaron's threat immediately silenced the first-year students' complaints. They were forced to obey and began swinging their swords.

Half an hour passed, and the first-year students were already exhausted, while the senior students looked only slightly tired.

Fortunately, Van was already used to training at this intensity, so it wasn't too tiring for him.

However, rather than physical exhaustion, everyone felt more mentally drained.

Master Aaron's mouth was truly sharp and vile. His words pierced straight to the depths of one's soul.

His tongue could deliver a sentence in one second, and that sentence would be enough to make anyone upset.

When he saw a student slowing down, he would say, "Hey, swing your sword faster. Are you even human? Even my 100-year-old neighbor can swing faster than you."

If someone looked too tired to swing their sword, he would say, "Hey, keep swinging. Your father would be ashamed to see you like this. He'd cheat on your mother just to produce a better child than you."

In the blink of an eye, the student who heard Master Aaron's insult became furious and began swinging his sword at lightning speed.

If he saw a student swinging their sword too fast, he would say, "Hey, slow down. If you move that fast, your wife will die on your wedding night."

At first, the student was confused upon hearing Master Aaron's words, but once he understood the meaning, his face turned bright red.

When a student asked for permission to go to the toilet, he would say, "Why? You want to go to the toilet? For what? Are you meeting your lover there? Is your lover a pile of poop?"

And when that student returned, he would say, "That was quick. Is your duration only two minutes?"

Even nobles weren't spared from Master Aaron's mockery. On the contrary, he seemed to enjoy insulting them more.

He insulted a noble even though the noble had done nothing wrong.

"Hey, noble. Is this all you've got? Even a beggar at the city outskirts is better than you."

"Swing your sword faster! Did your father only teach you how to use your [Little Sword] that hasn't even fully grown?"

"Lift your sword, fat noble! Even my neighbor's pet pig is skinnier than you."

"Why are you using a short sword? That's not a sword! That's a dagger! Is your \[Little Sword] also that small?"

"That golden tie really doesn't suit you. A bloated belly and wrinkled face. Are you really a new student? You look like you've been held back for a century. You're even older than my ancestors."

Even Arthur, whose sharp tongue could easily hurt others, suffered a crushing defeat when facing Master Aaron's insults.

"Hey, rainbow-eyed kid. Your sword swing is anything but elegant. I doubt any girl would want to be near you."

"Shut up, you nagging old man. I doubt any woman would want to approach an old fart like you."

"Just so you know, kid. I have five wives. How about you? Even a dog wouldn't want to marry you."

"You!"

Van, who stood next to Arthur, of course wasn't spared from Master Aaron's insults either.

"You flat-faced noble. What's with your expression? With that face, you'll be single forever. Better apply to become a eunuch now. I heard the neighboring kingdom is looking for eunuchs."

"What's with that sword swing? Did the Black family really give birth to trash like you? Even a newborn baby can swing a sword better than you."

"I heard you have a rare skill. You'd be better off quitting swordsmanship and playing house with your creatures."

"Why are you swinging so fast? Are you in a hurry to finish? Trying to impress the girls at the Academy?"

"Can you even talk to people? I don't think so. Maybe you've got schizophrenia and chuunibyou from always hanging out with your creatures. Learn how to communicate with the opposite gender, kid. Don't let your s*xual orientation get weird."

Van was stunned that Master Aaron managed to hurl all those insults within five seconds.

Even though Van had expected this and mentally prepared himself, he didn't think Master Aaron's words could be that terrifying.

'Is that really a human tongue? These words are equivalent to a high-level skill, aren't they?' Van thought while holding back his emotions. His grip on his sword tightened.

[HAHAHAHA. MASTER, IT'S REALLY FUN WATCHING YOU LIKE THIS]

'Calm down. Calm down. Calm down. Calm down.' Van tried to calm himself to avoid killing Master Aaron on the spot with his [101 Shadows].

"Tch. Boring. Flat-faced schizophrenic," Master Aaron said as he walked toward the next student.

[PFFT. SCHIZOPHRENIC]

'Damn system,' Van cursed at the system's mocking comment.

Van suddenly felt a dangerous aura and turned to the side. He saw Arthur staring at Master Aaron with pure rage.

"That guy! I'll pay him back a hundred—no—a thousand times in the future," Arthur said as he swung his sword at an extremely fast speed.

Van then refocused on his own training while occasionally glancing at Master Aaron.

'No wonder Oliver got punished on his first day at the Academy. So this is what he went through,' Van thought.

He had already expected this. After all, Master Aaron's personality was infuriating, and his words were nasty and piercing.

In the original novel, Oliver's first class was also [Sword Technique] taught by Master Aaron.

With Oliver's foolish, reckless, impulsive, and easily-provoked personality, he exploded the moment he heard Master Aaron's insults.

"Hey you blond-haired kid. Aren't you from the Black family? Why isn't your hair black? Did you dye it blonde? Are you into someone from the Gold family, so you dyed it for them?"

"Why's your sword swing so weak? Are you really a Black? Your older brother, who I taught, was way better than you. My neighbor's puppy that was just born yesterday is even better than you. You'd be better off quitting swordsmanship and crying into your brother's lap."

As a result, Oliver charged at Master Aaron and slashed at him like he was his mortal enemy. In the end, Oliver lost and was dragged away by the [Academy Committee].

After Oliver left, Master Aaron continued his insults—this time targeting Olivia. Unfortunately, Olivia lacked talent in swordsmanship since her talent lay in magic. So the insults thrown at her were even worse than those directed at Oliver. Olivia, who was smart, kind, and usually calm, also exploded under Master Aaron's barrage.

"Hey you little blond girl. Did you dye your hair too? Do you like a guy from the Gold family? Kids these days, barely of age but already in love. Can you even cook? I bet you'd blow up the whole house or poison everyone with your food. Or did you dye your hair to follow your twin brother? Are you a siscon?"

"Why is your sword swing so weak? Others have already swung dozens of times, but you haven't even reached ten. Are you really that weak? That's why you shouldn't focus on romance! Think about your future career! Are you even swinging a sword? I've never seen anyone weaker than you. Even the puppy of the puppy of my neighbor's dog that was just born yesterday is better than you. Even that armless beggar I saw yesterday can swing a sword better than you!"

As a result, Olivia also exploded and bombarded Master Aaron with spells. In the end, Olivia met the same fate as Oliver—she was dragged away by the [Academy Committee].
