"You're not picking up?" Seeing Shen Siyuan staring at his phone in a daze, Ruan Hongzhuang asked softly.
Shen Siyuan didn't speak but directly answered the call.
"Mom." Shen Siyuan flashed a smile and greeted her.
"Don't give me that cheeky grin. You know what I want to see. Please get out of my camera's view." Huang Huijuan frowned and spoke sternly.
Ruan Hongzhuang stood by, somewhat nervously watching the conversation between Shen Siyuan and his mother.
Sooner or later, an ugly daughter-in-law has to meet the in-laws, she was prepared mentally, but didn't expect it to happen so soon.
Shen Siyuan turned his head to look at Ruan Hongzhuang.
"My mom wants to meet you. Do you want to see her? If not, I'll just turn her down," Shen Siyuan said.
Could Ruan Hongzhuang say she didn't want to meet? He still had the phone in his hand; was it really okay to say that?
And Huang Huijuan, on the other end of the line, indeed furrowed her brows even more tightly.
