Ye Shikai shoved Sally into the stone gate and then turned around to deliver a Breaking Sky Fist at the creature behind him.
"Boom." The strong wind from the punch finally forced the giant beast back several steps, buying Ye Shikai a precious few seconds.
"Rumble." Seizing the opportunity, Ye Shikai jumped in, and at the very last moment before the beast caught up, the stone door closed with a loud bang.
"Hades, are you alright?" Sally helped Ye Shikai up and brushed the dust off him.
"I'm fine, it was really close. Why does it always happen like this?" Ye Shikai's relief was palpable as the sound of knocking came from the stone door, making the entire room vibrate intensely.
"They will catch up with us, we must leave immediately." Sally's face showed a flash of urgency as she pointed at a side door.
"Alright, let's go." Ye Shikai grabbed Sally's hand and they left through the side door.
