Killer A and Killer Bee, accompanied by a Cloud shinobi who specialized in sensory perception, intercepted a seven-man Konoha team.
"Yo, fools! You've run into Konoha's worst nightmare!" Killer Bee rapped badly as he appeared before the Konoha squad.
Killer A approached Killer Bee and glared at the Konoha shinobi with killing intent. The sensory-type Cloud shinobi observed from a tree branch, not yet ready to join the confrontation.
The seven Konoha ninjas' eyes widened in recognition and fear when they saw Killer A and Killer Bee.
"The Blue Lightning and the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki?!"
"I can't believe we've encountered both of them!"
"Stay alert! This will be a difficult battle!"
The Konoha squad's expressions grew solemn. They had absolutely no confidence in defeating Killer A and Killer Bee, as the strongest among them was only an elite Chūnin. Not long ago, Killer A and Killer Bee had killed a five-man Konoha team led by two Jōnin. Facing such powerful opponents, the seven Konoha shinobi were already thinking about finding an opportunity to retreat.
The sensory-type Cloud shinobi shouted from the tree branch, "At twelve o'clock! Someone's approaching quickly!"
No sooner had the sensory ninja finished speaking than a flash of lightning struck toward Killer A and Killer Bee with tremendous speed.
"Lightning Release: Supersonic Sword!"
Killer Bee channeled lightning chakra into his ninja sword, enhancing its lethality while using Lightning Release to trigger high-frequency vibrations that gave it penetrating power exceeding even Wind Release techniques. He quickly raised his blade to block the attack.
A massive force pushed Killer Bee back several steps.
"Lateral Bolt of Pain!" Killer A focused Lightning Release chakra into his hand and slashed at their attacker.
But Killer A was at a disadvantage in midair, and their attacker used the Body Flicker Technique to dodge and reappear a short distance away.
After clearly seeing the appearance of the person who had attacked Killer A and Killer Bee, the sensory-type shinobi exclaimed in horror, "Black hair, Sharingan, and that speed—it must be the Blood-Eyed Shura! If we don't run now, how long will we survive?!"
Despite this, Killer A and Killer Bee remained remarkably calm.
Killer A looked at Sora with interest. "Is this really the one who single-handedly made Cloud shinobi in the Land of Hot Water announce that they're permitted to retreat if they encounter him?"
Sora returned Killer A's gaze with equal interest. "It's been a while, Killer A, son of the Third Raikage, and Killer Bee, Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails."
Hearing "Eight-Tails Jinchūriki," the Konoha shinobi stared at Killer Bee in shock. A real Jinchūriki!
Killer A frowned. "Have we met before?"
Sora spread his hands dismissively. "It doesn't matter. My mission is to kill you both here today."
Killer Bee pointed his ninja sword at Sora and said, "With my brother and me, victory's guaranteed, you fool! Yeah!"
The seven Konoha shinobi stepped forward. "Lord Sora! Let us fight alongside you!"
Sora glanced coldly at the Konoha shinobi behind him. "Stay back. Don't get in my way."
The Konoha ninjas looked at Sora in disbelief. They were all from the same village, so even if he didn't need their help, there was no reason to speak so harshly. But thinking about it further, they realized this seemed normal for Sora. No matter who he interacted with, his attitude was always the same.
Since Sora had made his wishes clear, they saw no reason to push the matter and retreated to a safe distance—a position from which they could escape if Sora was defeated. They also wanted to see who was stronger: Sora, who was becoming famous throughout the shinobi world, or the renowned Blue Lightning and Eight-Tails Jinchūriki.
Sora's three-tomoe Sharingan fixed on Killer A and Killer Bee. He beckoned to them provocatively. "Come at me together, then!"
Killer A immediately activated his Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
"Lightning Straight!"
Moving as fast as blue lightning, Killer A rushed in front of Sora in an instant, raising his left fist to strike Sora's face.
An excited smile crossed Sora's face. Compared to two years ago, Killer A's speed had increased! Now his speed was comparable to Sora's own lightning techniques.
Sora's body took a small step to the left. This subtle movement was enough to make Killer A's attack miss completely.
Killer A couldn't believe someone had dodged his extremely fast strike.
"Thunder Breath: Earth Style: Lightning Burst!"
Sora released countless lightning slashes in all directions around himself.
Just before the lightning slashes could hit Killer A, an octopus tentacle wrapped around him and absorbed Sora's lightning attack.
After escaping, Killer A quickly backed away and returned to Killer Bee's side. "Sorry, Bee. Are you alright?"
"Brother, I'm fine!" Killer Bee assured him.
Both Killer A and Killer Bee regarded Sora with grave expressions. Until now, they had only heard rumors about him—that he possessed ultimate speed and the power of the formidable Thunder Breath ninjutsu, could use four powerful escape techniques, and was a master of genjutsu thanks to the legendary Mangekyō Sharingan of the Uchiha clan.
They had just witnessed his speed firsthand. If Killer Bee hadn't intervened, Killer A might have been seriously injured. In terms of speed, which was Killer A's specialty, he found himself outmatched by Sora.
But at least he had his perfect partner with him.
Killer A said seriously to Killer Bee, "Bee, this guy is no ordinary opponent. Let's attack together. Don't look into his eyes—his Uchiha Sharingan can trap people in genjutsu without them even realizing it."
Killer Bee appeared relaxed. "Brother, have you forgotten that I'm a Jinchūriki? Just worry about yourself."
Killer A's lips curved into a smile. That was right—Killer Bee and the Eight-Tails had reached perfect harmony. As a Jinchūriki, he was immune to all genjutsu attacks. Killer A only needed to worry about Sora's illusions affecting himself.
"Let's go!"
"Alright, Brother!"
Killer A and Killer Bee charged at Sora simultaneously.
Sora leaned his body slightly forward.
"Thunder Breath: Three-Style: Lightning Encirclement!"
Sora rotated around Killer Bee at high speed, leaving waves of lightning in his wake that isolated Killer A behind a barrier of electricity.
With his opponent separated, Sora quickly formed hand seals.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Sora gathered chakra in his throat and expelled a massive sea of flames at Killer Bee.
Killer Bee immediately wrapped himself in octopus tentacles to shield himself from the flames.
"Lightning Style: Lariat!"
With Lightning chakra coating his entire body, Killer A crashed into Sora at top speed, using his powerful forearm to strike Sora's chest.
Sora was forced to break his Lightning Encirclement technique. He took a step back, quickly formed hand seals, and pressed his palms to the ground.
"Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld!"
The soil beneath Killer A's feet liquified, forming a massive swamp that swallowed him up to his waist.
Without pausing, Sora formed more hand seals.
"Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes!"
From Sora's sleeves, a large number of snakes emerged to attack the trapped Killer A.
Having escaped from the sea of fire, Killer Bee rushed to stand in front of Killer A. Octopus tentacles emerged from his body and swept away the snakes with a single motion.
After Killer Bee pulled Killer A free from the swamp, the two coordinated their movements to attack Sora once more.
