There had been incidents like this before, but never on such a grand scale. This time, the uprising wasn't isolated to a district or two—the entire city was erupting.
Slaves were being freed across every corner, and because the city's fame and fortune were built on its slave trade, it held an enormous population of them. Now, those same slaves were rising from all directions. No district was safe.
What made the situation much worse was that they were armed.
Zaroth, having bought the sub-par weapons that Torin had put on display at his shop, were cheap and easily mass-produced. As such, he spared no expense and bought thousands, giving Nightshade to arm so many slaves.
