Leah's POV
My name is Leah. I'm 12, and I'm a Special Grade Awakened. I also have a talent for the sword. I was a noble—or maybe I still am. My family fell after my father and mother died in the last war between the Lux and Nox Empires.
Now, I live in the Dies Kingdom of the Lux Empire. The only keepsakes my parents left me were a pendant and the jian that I use as a weapon. These days, I work in a restaurant to make ends meet. If I don't work, I go hungry.
I practice every day, and I always see a shirtless kid running around a mountain near the lake where I train. What baffles me the most is that the same kid comes to work completely fine and even does my part of the work sometimes.
I hate how strong he is. No matter how much I train, I still come to work exhausted every day. But that pervert boy I dominated last week is always energetic and strong. Could he have been going easy on me that day? Or maybe he was bamboozled by my beautiful face?

Either way, I have to keep an eye on him and figure out his secret.
Maybe I should strategically act like I like him and become friends with him. I heard boys are stupid, so he might fall for some dumb stuff like that. Well, I'm willing to try, so I might as well go ahead.
I'm going to meet him tomorrow at work, so I'll ask him to be friends with me. Eventually, he'll have to tell me his secret. I kind of feel like a villain, but if this is what's necessary for my growth, then I'm willing to do it—because I want my family to rise again.
