Kingsly Scott touched Rachel Foster's forehead, feeling her entire body burning, though the heat didn't seem like a fever. He immediately ordered Helen, "Prepare a room and call a doctor."
"Yes."
Helen hurried off to make the arrangements.

When Rachel awoke groggily, she found herself lying on a large bed.
Her mind was foggy; she only remembered walking along the beach with Kingsly, him carrying her in his arms, and them sharing a passionate kiss by the sea...
"How are you feeling?"
A familiar voice reached her ears.
Through her haze, Rachel saw Kingsly approaching with a damp cloth in his hand.
Seeing him, she felt content and smiled at him.
Kingsly set the cloth aside and reached for Rachel's forehead, noting that it hadn't cooled down despite his earlier efforts. His brow furrowed.
